I don't faced any SOD since day one till now. Only faked hang when reboot if Optimize Backlight is deselected.  Minor issue as I will always select it to be on.
Overall happy with the phone.

Even though with screen issue at the moment, XU is still the only S800 Phablet in the market with screens approaching 7".

Screen inconsistency aside, I am sure being Sony, they will resolve the matter given time (SOD). I can see Sony is putting in effort in their Z series and then improving it. I had a friend with a XZ which had stability issues as well as having its keyboard auto type for him when he's not zzz.....and subsequently he bricked his phone whilst trying to update its f/w. Phone's sent to Sony Svc Ctr in Pg and they sent it to KL. Matter was resolved in a week and he even got a call directly from the Tech handling his phone explaining the causes of it, what the tech do to resolve it and further reassuring the customer of the quality of product. Apparently he is the first person who face this problem and it is the initial period when XZ was introduced to the market. The Tech in the communication also obtaining some user input on his usage pattern to establish the root cause and if its a known issue/bug, will be addressed in future f/w update.

Having said the above, I think we should give them time to improve.

On the screen inconsistency, yellowish / bluish tint, even iphone has that. Due to supply capacity, no one supplier can satisfy entire order. It's also not a good practice for a company to solely rely on one single supplier for any given part hence the differing screen qualities from different maker. Though I believe consistency can be improved by specifying the standards and setting the acceptance levels.

its funny that i have none of the issue written by you, or there is but it doesn't bother me or i did not notice.. i don't use chinese keyboard anyway.

the only screen issue that bother me is just water droplets is registered as touch by the screen.. thats it. i have no other problem with XZU, in fact its the first phone that i insist to keep for good.  no matter how good a phone, such as HTC One and iphone 5, it was sold within 2-3 months of usage.. but i'm affected to XZU, dunno why.

these stuff happens, not only sony... happens to any other brand...

my mom's S2, when in ICS, phone signal (3G) was strong and no problem, usually 3 or full bar.
after update to JB, 3G signal drop! usually from 0 bar to 3 bar only... how? did a fresh reset also same. and also not everyone having this problem too...

Maybe there's a bug that's even worse that you dunno about lurking underneath... something like eMMC/SDS issue for S3. So they come out with firmware to fix it.

hmm...you might wanna visit Sony SC to let them have a check on ur keyboard issue. Might be localised issue, only your unit has it....and since it was not widely reported, any f/w update might not address it.

not an apple fan or owned any apple gadget before but design-wise, it looks nice n premium feel..lol. the inside, is so-so...

ZU, also got tht premium feel when my boss always ask about it comparing to Note 2/Mega. beauty is in the eye of the beholder~

I one week itself bored to max with iPhone, 3 months is great. I don't know why, I'm not all interested on the 5S. It looks exactly like a normal 5 has some minor internal upgrades. The 5C on the other hand, is something new from Apple and looks more attractive with its colours and is also more comfortable to hold cause it's made out of a plastic back. There is however one slight issue, when I was using the iPhone 5, sometimes it get soo freaking hot after using. That however was made from metal and this plastic. Hmmm. Wonder if its gonna melt the plastic or Apple has done a miracle iPhone.

That's why i never use FB on XZU lo ... use it on IP4 instead .

Not only that , i found that most of the Apps using more memory compare to Note2

Perhaps .... 3gb Ram would be an ideal solution ... or maybe 4gb

Walao, you call me "otak Rosak". So rude leh you? I'm not interested in the 5S cause it's the same iPhone all over again with a little bit more better features which to me isn't gonna come in handy. I don't need a Fingerprint Sensor, I'm not hiding the government's secrets. With premium features comes premium price and I don't see any use for all those features. The 5C is a change and very nice change indeed. Some different in the world is always needed. As they always say, don't be a trend follower, be a trend setter.

guys..if you peel off the original sp that come with sony logo..can I get a new replacement from sony..kena beli pun takpe..

already call sony..if want to change pay rm1100...the screen protector come with the lcd..so if want to tukar..kena tukar semua..haih...rasa nak peel of n ganti screen protector yang baru je...coz I cannot look that calar2..

hurm..no so care about warranty because I chang my phone frequently...but if I remove the sheet I scared it also will remove the sony logo..mana ade sheet jual ngan sony logo kat pasaran...

ya i hate sony now for the damn shatter proof film… the person who given idea for the shatter proof film should get fired! very non-practical idea..        

I on the other hand prefers the Sony logo on the shatterproof film. It gives an option to owners whether to keep the brand logo or to do away with it and have a plain screen
