IWC is one of the five manufactures for WWII fliegers, others were Stowa, Laco, Wempe, Lange.
Of course their famous Mark X/XI were used by Royal Air Force.

Nothing special, I like classic iconic watches, and mostly of it are no date, i.e. SpeedyPro, Sub, LLD, Santos, Reverso etc.

Panerais?

Last on my list.
They are many nice watches in that price point are more worth it than Panerai, just my humble view.

she already has a 27mm Tag AR, not considering another sporty watch... more to classy...
i put my 41mm AR on her wrist and it looks a kid wearing a watch, might rule out the Panerais but still tempted to visit the ADs
