QUOTE(patryn33 @ Nov 6 2013, 08:44 PM) Reason of preferring Normal mechanical? The work done on my credor spring drive even my local watchmaker is damn impress My local watch maker repairs and sell atmos and does service rolex and AP. On the surface u cannot even tell its quartz regulated, the movement reveal shows its mechanical design. Somewhat like to listen to the ticking sound and love to see the escapement pallet fork moves (on those open heart)

QUOTE(ludalord @ Nov 15 2013, 02:35 AM) hello, i'm new here. can anyone recommend me brand of leather watch that have case <40mm. cause my wrist quite small. my budget below rm500. Below RM500 you can easily get quite a few mechanical models from seiko or orients Personally I will go for Orient Bambino

QUOTE(sniper on the roof @ Nov 16 2013, 12:02 AM) Bambino wears quite large though for the design... 38mm will be just nice for those design. Come to think of it, yeah, it would be nicer if it is 38mm. QUOTE(ludalord @ Nov 16 2013, 04:49 AM) nice.. thank you for the suggestion.. i'll consider it.. that's very nice.. but i have limited budget though, any other smililar design which is less expensive? Or maybe you can try Chicane, it's 38mm without crown.

Is it possible to change my Orient Golden Eye watch steel bracelet to leather? I measured the width of the bracelet is 18mm, if it is possible, is it hard to change it by myself?

QUOTE(sniper on the roof @ Dec 1 2013, 05:14 PM) Why not? Btw a quick google revealed that ur lug width (strap size) is 20mm. Measure at the lugs where it meets the case NOT the end of the strap. ah, thanks for the info.

QUOTE(Jason @ Dec 14 2013, 10:23 AM) I won't buy it. But that's me. RM580 maybe. if really RM580 i straight buy. QUOTE(Omega Z @ Dec 15 2013, 10:44 AM) Any watches you guys would recommend for person whose budget is around RM150 - RM200? Cant buy a too pricey watch. Still a student. I looked around and found out one shop selling Polo watches around that price (ori price ard Rm300+ but gt 50 % discount). My bro recommend me to buy Fossil watches. No idea how much would that costs me. Tissot are so high end but they looked so gorgeous. Casio? You can easily get middle range casio at that budget

QUOTE(Everdying @ Dec 30 2013, 12:57 PM) actually its not that bad. but im just wondering how to tell time for those tigris models. the open heart got roman numerals from 1 to 12, but no hands the design is quite complicated and alot of blings too.

QUOTE(sniper on the roof @ Dec 30 2013, 01:14 PM) If you ever make your way to Taipei one day, there's actually a little known attraction which is this alley whereby most of the distributors where most of Taiwan's pasar malam/obscure watch shop get their stock. It's pretty interesting as you can view A LOT of these catalogue watches. Basically the ones from your link go for around <RM160. Oh btw, do you mind share what are catalogue watches mean?
