What is Tonberry Kings?

Tonberry Kings is an international FFXIV: A Realm Reborn Free Company playing on the Tonberry Server, we're mostly malaysian based with a sprinkle of singaporean in the mix.

Are you hardcore?

We consists of people who're hardcore as well as casuals so there's something for everyone, also we do not demand that you level up asap or must be a pro or anything like that, if you need help for low level dungeons feel free to ask, we'll help you get from zero to hero.

Who can join?

Anyone is welcome, malaysian, singaporean, australian, alien, we welcome anyone to join our FC.

What is this thread for?

This is partially a recruiment thread, as well as a place where FC members can chat, share screenshots, Organize raids and ask for help. if you're interested to join feel free to contact me, one of the officers, recruiters, or list your IGN here.

I have finally reached level 50 White Mage last night and will now focus to finish what is left of the main story. My next mission is to level Alchemy class before i start wandering around fishing whistling.gif

Hmm... what i can think of currently.

Should:
- FFARR logo
- FC crest
- Name of FC of course
- If possible ARR Tonberry King picture big/small depending which looks better
- Keep colours simple? Not too messy
- The banner will link to official thread/site
EDIT: - Server (forgot to add since our name already has the server name biggrin.gif)

Optional:
- Master and officers names but this might take up too much space so not really recommended.
- FC type Hardcore+Casual (or a better way to define it)
- FC member type: International
- Play time zone GMT +8 (for now i guess since mostly us only)

P.S. Rosa, do you want us to actively search members? Or how is your plan on recruiting others? Ask and you shall receive kinda thing? laugh.gif

there will be newer servers but i suggest you guys try to enter tonberry since it has high english speakers in the server

I heard they will be adding new servers.

As for which server you would join, are you going to a JP, NA or EU server? We are currently in a JP server with many oceania players so it not all japanese players. If you planning to join the newly added server in JP, best to check where oceania players will be going unless you have no issue talk/type in japanese.

We are in JP server cause it gives us the best connection. If you are planning to join NA/EU server i think should be no issue to join a new server, however probably most if not all members here would not be playing there. We can still help you out in the forums no problem~ not very sure we can help on duty finder with other servers yet. Will need test once SE tweak it.

I just found out that i'm almost 50 everything....

Yeah i think recommendation is best. How about having a recruitment week or day? I don't mind shout to add people if i am online at the time. Day is certain day of the week (weekend seems best) and week will be all days on the 1st week of the month.

Yesterday completed titan quest with Scholar biggrin.gif

Got confused by the big aoe knock me down the cliff SOOO MANY TIMES!
In the end, they told me to stand INSIDE the AOE and eat the damage sleep.gif

After that, die one time due to line aoe lag..i was out of the line but it still hit me.

But i kinda see the scholar power in such dungeon. The faerie help me heal those who hit by small damage while i can concentrate on tanker or heavy injured DPS.

We need volunteers to help with recruitment! So basically you just need to write your name to the area you wish to help recruit new members for our FC. Currently we have decided that the recruitment (shouts) done only one day a week (correct me if im wrong rosa). You do not have to spam, every few minutes but maybe just once every few hours (my idea is once at breakfast, lunch and dinner/supper). We wont mind if you miss any of the times but try your best at least once a week flex.gif

- Shout FC recruit message at the Teleport area you signed up.

You do not need to be an officer to help out.
Just send the name to the currently online officer or to the forum thread.
They will do the rest.

Guess we can have diff type of volunteers. Those who want to be permanent or temporary.

How many bards do we have in guild?

We should do a Tonberry Kings Concert and shout it out to the world! rclxm9.gif

Plan:
- Bards to play at middle of stage.
- Dancing group in swimwear to the sides and back.
- Summoner &/ Archanist at edges and make their summons walk around in pattern.
- A recruitment booth somewhere at audience area (officers needed) to handle applications.
- **For finale - Have White Mages cast holy at corners (one middle of audience) and end of performance
- *** Need cameraman to record teh event and post!

Note: Do we need an MC? how bout fireworks from the event?

for DOM jobs...is good to have at least 3.4k hp as advise because this is the only way you can survive from titan's final phase stomp....except u have leet dps to down him early in the final phase...

not sure because from the last time i online, and when i got dc, only 1 hour and i still in party that time, after several time try to log in because my char got 3102 error (char stuck ingame), i got suspended, At time time Fu still inside the party i join because we want to try Coil of behemoth again..

My advice is run dungeons and keep on doing the main quest. They give gear as reward.
And don't forget your class quest. They usually give decent gear as well as your class weapon as reward.

You can also craft them yourself.

Another option is BUYING, but low level gear becomes obsolete quite fast so I would advice against it.

May I know what class are you at the moment?

Does the ifrit level counts as dungeon? Coz I did not get anything previously.

that's an instance battle. dungeons is those long ones like sastasha and tamtara.

anyway, the soonest you can farm dungeons for gears is brayflox at lv32. if you need gears in the meantime, i can make some for you.

I guess you can consider Ifrit a dungeon, but there is no drop from him.

What kind or armour do you wear? Heavy armor?

Most of your gear (armor) are made by weavers and weapons are from carpenters. So you can either level up yourself or take on Rosa's offer.

Do not run any pre-made with a bunch of mofo: Ryoko Rein, Kingpin Flix, Raxe Maximus etc and their FC is DWC. Trolling in Titan hm run, die on purpose, tank jump down on purpose when at bomb phase where the land slide is directly opposite. And keep saying how can he fall when he is behind the titan all those bullshit. They are wearing relic or at least titan weapon. The whole party is under the same DWC, i suspect they are trying to sell titan run when u get frustrated later. Reported them too for sabotaging a Titan HM run.

Sorry haven't been on much here all... still busy at work and too much concentrate FF when back.

Regarding the recruitment movement, i think will cancel as we don't really need that many people right now but considering Rosa's idea of a play. Will need some people to work together for this and decide a date. Maybe Halloween or X-Mas.

Last night was highlighted regarding raids etc. My idea was we group people up first those that play more together and online together. Then when they do not have enough members for runs on that day can ask for FC help. This will follow up on 8man events and Crystal Tower so the small groups can group up together.

Groups that do not have enough Role ie Healer or Tanks this will be the opportunity to identify how many needed and how to acquire them. One method by asking people to join our guild or have other members to make tanks.

Btw, im currently lvling weaver and once i finish lvling botanist and fishing i can concentrate on helping on equips for FC.

from wat im seeing, this guild have quite a number of tanks , just not at raiding stage..

also, members should play what they feel like playing, no point forcing them into a role that they don't like to play just to get a spot for raiding/dungeons, especially healer and tank where they take a huge responsibility on the fights. this game doesn't promote tank and spank, so the tanks and healers need to carry their weight in the runs

also, our fc need to appoint raid leaders, or maybe even class leaders if we are serious in raiding.

you also need 3 core grps to prepare for crystal tower, and would definitely need teamspeak or something similar for communication

Yes, we need a experienced raid leader.
As for 8 man dungeon, currently we doesn't have a group that on it yet. However there's loot table on the FF official forum.
If we able to get 8 man to go in first, and since the drop on the boss are always the same which can refer to the loot table. So can switch people go in and switch people out when that person already obtain his gear from particular boss.
Example :
Person A fight in Coil Turn 1 - and obtained the gear.
Next Week
Person A will not joining Turn 1 fight while Person B will go in to swap with Person A.
Once Turn 1 done, Person A will switch back to Turn 2 fight and etc.

How you all think?

With this , we can gear people up while geared people have their time on other thing. While waiting the raid to Turn 2.

nothing yet, thou i saw people who got ban earlier then me got release. Thou kind of wiered because most people got unbanned with thier money got taken, although they get thier gil purely from selling craft item. If i not wrong people who directly buy gil will get perma banned right?

weird is from what I read at the forum, they didnt investigate just use a robot minus everyone gil divide by 100. I think those real RMT just got their gil striped ? only ban those gil seller?

Most of the early unbanned r the gillionairs/crafters. Able to afk for hours, HQ all the popular mats. Mouse recorder abuse.
These people dont mind actually, have the gils hidden somewhere to bounce back.
Issue here innocent player get caught 2. Squenix tot they r the mules.
Safe practice is dont sell items/gears at RMT prices.

i think you guys need to take it step by step first, organize a group of 8 people and a time first before thinking of distributing the loot.

Its best that only bring people for loot after the content is already on farm, wiping over a boss with a newbie will be very demoralizing for the raid. To archive this people have to outgear the content first which might take awhile.

Other than that people need to prepare consumables if they are serious for progression (pots/food).

Another thing to note, fights in coil seems like need a lot coordination it would be great that everyone in the raid has a microphone ready.

i being force by the environment not the FC, the environment dps cant even get a raid spot... i wanna play a dragoon but the environment force to become tank due to wait a lvl 17 dungeon for 2 days(6 hrs), tamtam 3 hrs....

we are working but cant get a spot, i only got 2~3 hours time to play...

3. Find out the name of your crafting item

6. Hover the item for the matts list
7. Mail me the matts plus the name and level of that eq

example of moogle mail :-

Mythril Bhuj - Recipe Level 40 - Blacksmith

8. When i check my moogle i will craft for you [i'll try to HQ it if all Normal matts, sometimes 90% still fail for HQ] and send back to you

Hi all,

I am interested in transfer (once world transfers are open) to Tonberry.

Paladin level 50, full Darklight with my relic, looking for like minded people who want to explore current end game dungeons (i.e Titan HM > Coil).

I have no problems leading/organizing something like this if I had to. (I put together a PUG for my Titan HM kill).

Let me know here if this is something you are interested in.

Obviously, to be as efficient as possible we would ideally have 9-10 people who are keen on doing this as a same group every week so we don't have to re-learn an encounter every week.

Afterwhich if we have this on farm status we can slowly bring others in, or even start a second group.

Any thoughts?

Hi guys. I've been playing FFXIV for the last one month in Phoenix server(i know i'm lost). The latency is horrible. I get around 450ms. this ms was okay for low level dungeons etc, but when it comes to Titan HM, I really felt the effect. So is Tonberry Kings FC still has place? i'm thinking about using world transfer.

The server is vibrant. Not sure about how bot is going about but every server have bots. The economy is pretty stable as well.

Tonberry have a lot of English speaking players.
