yes, the requirement to waive the annual fees is both to swipe rm36k and once a month.
anyway, can try to call cs to waive it if you unable to attain to rm36k (most people will not be able too).  laugh.gif

you need to decide quick whether to cut or to activate.
otherwise you will have to pay the gst rm50.
next time be careful not to simply sign up a cc just for free gifts. tongue.gif

i think it depends on different banks (quoted as below)...
no harm trying to call the cs... smile.gif

ya. I tried Public Bank, never activate/swipe the cards, no need pay the GST.
But not for Hong Leong Bank, u still need to pay RM50 although u terminated the card without activate/swipe.

annual fees can be waived but gst will be depending on different banks.
you may or may not get charged with the rm50 gst even though you have not activated it.
as per my post above, some says public bank doesn't charge but hong leong did.
not so sure about other banks, you may try to contact the cs to ask.
no harm doing it, all the best to you... smile.gif

since OCBC Tit revised their cash back to 1%, I think this is the best alternative card available in the market.

maybe you should say this it one of the best alternative card available in the market.
so that uob won't think that people are very much depending on this card so that they could simply adjust the feature of this card. tongue.gif

first, you will be charged late payment charge.. second, interest as high as 18% per annum will be charged on all your unpaid transaction calculate from the day of the swipe.. and lastly your name is on the way to the CCRIS blacklist..
