the 2% smart$ at bhp is a little bit tricky. if you pump directly at the automated fuel dispenser with your uob cc, then you will get the 2% smart$. if you go inside to pay at the counter, then you need to be sure that the cashier charge your uob cc at the uob terminal/machine. usually bhp has 2 terminals/machines which are uob and affin. if the cashier charged your uob cc to the affin terminal/machine, then you will not get your 2% smart$. i will always remind the cashier to charge my uob cc at the correct terminal especially if the cashier looks blur.

i swiped at the fuel dispenser n there is no smart$ record appear.

uob one card is for those who cant guarantee of spending rm50x10 in a month..

Hello all. UOB is freaking effective. Registered on the 17th, got my card yday evening, 27th. Dammn fast. Haha anyway, I read in citibank lowyat page that they can sign up for e-statement. Can we do it here in UOB? Please advice.

based on my statement i can backdate count when is the time that i pump petrol but no 5% cash back

the limit on petrol cashback payout suxx, just got my statement for March.. and i didn't get 5% for all my petrol transaction ...

Sorry can't answer you. My statement dates 17 of July and my last pump was on 6th of July. Apply for Aeon Credit Card la. Gives you a rebate on the last Sunday of the month. In fact, they gave special balik kampung for Raya promo too from 17 July to 29 July. 5%...hoho

Today i just received my August credit card statement..

Another month of disappointment whereby i only received about 2.1% from my petrol expenditure..

Well, the capping of the rebates for the petrol had affected me badly because my job requires me to use my transport a lot.

Decided to make a decision in this coming October on whether to maintain with this credit card or terminate it..

Doesn't really see the point of maintaining the credit card unless no need to pay Government tax..

When's the last transaction that you got your rebate? I got feeling they start to cheat more and more people by bringing forward the cut off date.

Used to be around mid of the month quota only finish, now might even finished by 10th or so. If not because I still have some smartcash inside the card, I wouldn't bother to keep it. Even then will cut it before May next year when GST comes in, unless GST abolish then might consider. But then annual fees might not be waived.

so tricky... they don't even state the cutoff date is when....
My statement Cutoff date is 24th of the mth, and below is what I noticed on my petrol rebate...

26 - Jul --> No rebate ( PETRONAS)
30 - Jul --> No rebate (SHELL)
31 - Jul --> No rebate ( PETRONAS)
08 - Aug --> No rebate ( PETRONAS)
13 - Aug --> Got rebate (BHP)
21 - Aug --> Got rebate (BHP)

i only use it from 1st to 13th...
