yes, it's confirmed by uob cs. it happens after ocbc tmc terminated their 5%. so many has shifted to uob one card causing this issue.

1) allocation of 900k is for all petrol stations (not limited to bhp) and not including other cash rebates (groceries. pharmacy, etc)
2) uob cs said that it is safe to say you will be entitled for 5% if you pump during the first 2 weeks, however, the allocation might be finished earlier/later than the first 2 weeks (depending on users)

citibank may be able to last longer before they really revise the t&c because they only pay out the rebate after rm50 accumulation, means they are not giving out huge petrol rebates every month.

if you can wait to pump only during weekends, mbb2amex 5%+5xtp is good for you. and if you have any urgent moment to pump during the weekdays, you still can use the other mbb2visa/master for 3% at caltex.

yes, mbb2cards only waive one gst but they also only charge one gst for the 2 cards.

maybank only charge 1 gst for 2 cards, so when they offer 1 gst waiver means you don't have to pay anything.

i tested 2 petrol transactions last month (march) one on 5/3 and another on 26/3. both received 5% rebate.

yes, i know someone said 16/3 and onward no more receive the 5% cash rebate. but i pumped rm94.50 at shell on 26/3 still received the 5%. maybe uob allocate the 5% based on monthly quota per user? or uob let pumping at non-bhp still can receive?

i mean the quota per user like every user can only allowed to get 33% of their monthly quota? something like that.

for example, for me, my max is rm500 but i only use rm60 on 5/3 and rm94.50 on 26/3. means i only use rm154.50 out of my rm500 max (which was less than 33% of my max). and your case was rm100 out of rm300 (which is also around 33% only).

i just think so, not confirm. because maybe uob wants to be fair to all users to have chance to get the 5%. LOL! just thinking only. actually i'm very dissatisfied with this contest/lucky draw type of 5% rebate. going to cut the card anytime soon.

argh, i was just slightly late to cancel it!!! both gst (rm50) and annual fee (rm168) just being charged! annual fee waiver will need to call back after 3 working days whether approved or not. but gst must be paid.

1) need to wait at least 3 working days to know whether approved to get annual fee waiver or not
2) need to call to ask as they won't inform you by themselves

you cancelled means you paid the gst first? and then uob refund the rm50 into your account?

not sure whether should congratulate you or not... looking at the benefits of uob cc keep getting restricted and limited.

otherwise get a hlb wise instead.
