if pump inside at the counter, you need to make sure that they swipe at the uob terminal. some station has affin terminal beside uob and they tend to use that more often.

have you max out the smart$ per month already?

swipe outside cannot see smart$ amount collected on your receipt.
swipe inside need to make sure they swipe at uob terminal (usually they have affin too).

it says input the code during checkout, means direct deduct.

will not affect your current commitment with uob. but will affect your overall loan capacity. so if you don't need it, don't accept it.

another cheating promo by uob. when you did what they advertised, they will simply say that you are after the first 500 customers already. that's how they cheat in their earlier promos.

but they didn't give me cash back on the 10% grocery promo that time in which i bought rm800 during the first day promo. the allocation can't be finished on the first day morning itself. that's why i don't trust them anymore.

furthermore allocation for petrol also cut become after middle month is 0% already (no more 5%).

so you must have spent rm500+rm500 on the first day of two different promo week. for me, was rm500+rm300. yeah, I'm considering to cancel too. i dislike fake promises. it's like cheating us to use their cc but in the end they don't give us the reward as promised.

different banks have their own methods to calculate the risk of approving loan/cc to you. so there's no exact formula to know your total capacity. if assume that you can borrow up to rm300k, so 5 cc with rm20k credit limit each will have taken one third of it. so you were left with only rm200k for house & car loans.

yeah, if they revise, i know which cc to choose to pay (instead of using uob thinking can get the cb but cheated didn't get).

no need to feel bad... bcs many of us don't get 5%+5% anyway, especially if you pump after middle of the month.

the promo i participated was for supermarket/hypermarket/departmental which promo period was in between 10/1/2014 to 30/1/2014.

i didn't join the new promo which you stated, because i felt cheated when they don't pay me on the first promo,and yet still come out with another same promo just for departmental.

but it still doesn't sound right if rm50k allocation every week ended on the first day every week before 10am. i participated rm500 the first week and rm300 the second week.

conclusion = uob is a liar/cheater.

again uob giving rewards in this way = first 500 approved customers only
always offer rewards not genuinely = uob style

just forget about the sms... even if you reply that sms on the same day, i still doubt you will be among the first 500.
many of us already fallen into this type of uob's trap.
