me agree, i dont think there is anything wrong when you do abs exercise, its just like doin any other concentrate exercise in which you hope to have a bigger and nicer muscles. calories in n calories out is important, but still you need to train the particular muscle group for it to be stronger and bigger, my 2 cents.struggling and still got a long way to go to reach 10% bodyfat
