NOPE, no luck on getting any amanah saham units for now I think a lot of people "keeping" their units for long term

BTW I try my luck today for both ASW2020 & AS1M, no units available. I think u "took" @ "sapu" all the available ASW2020 units today

then I assume u "took" my chance in 3pm+ today

if u read all those comments / posting in tis thread, u can see how difficult esp non-bumi to get some units & u are worried about losing 1mth dividend. even u lost 1mth, can "cover-back" with the higher dividend rate compare with FD. FYI tis year dividend rate is 6.7sen for asw2020 compared with FD

that's normal. Every seconds got people "trying" their luck whole of Malaysia.
for non-bumi asw2020 agents cannot "see" the available units only those bumi asw2020 units they can "see". I personally heard tis from one of maybank counter awek while "trying" my luck getting the units & also "hitting" on her

okay, let me explain something. for non-bumi passbook holder, we cannot just get any "big" amount by just walk-in. in my case, even rm100 also hard to get. most of the time failed to get any amount. one more thing, people just don't go on daily basis just to "try". when only got free time then only try. Nowadays we need to personally be there to "top-up" or updating the passbook. there's some crap law saying that. before tis, some of us would ask other people to try "top-up or updating the passbook. now cannot

if u're very unlucky that day, even the staff won't "try" for u if the person before your turn (number before u & also non-bumi) also trying to get the units. the staff would be "stress-out" trying-out for the person before u. when your turn comes, & u ask to "try" the staff would say, "unit takda lar. Customer sebelum u pun try & tak dapat apa-apa unit."

okay, next thing about one forumer managed to get 50k at one shot. I assume u referring to lucifah passbook pict in previous posting. He's bumiputera holder, from Sarawak if I'm not mistaken for bumi, it's much more easier to get the units compare with non-bumi. Only in BolehLand

bro, there's no maximum limit to those funds. only ASB got limit of 200k for "modal". all amount are calculated for dividend

I got the feeling next year got some additional units. why? because from the statement from PNB top person said something about "tough environment" & "increased investment". If I remembered correctly the last time those term / statement came we got ASW2020 & ASM additional units & also new AS1M fund

you're not alone, there's a lot of people ready to "top-up" (active & silent forumer / reader)

a lot of people would be trying in those 2 days u mention. 1700 branches+agents whole of Malaysia. Even just 10% trying (out 1.7k branches) can reduce your chance

OMG rm 25k non-bumi even rm50 also very2 hard to get

if I see anyone non-bumi just before my Q number "trying", I won't waste my time waiting because when the person in front me finished trying, I can confirm the staff wont bother trying for me. Once I tried to persuade the staff & almost got into fight with the teller. true story

based on my previous experiences, min 1week we have to endure long Q & waiting time to perform ASNB transaction. If I remembered correctly those withdrawing ASB dividend are subjected to "limit" on how much can be withdraw on that particular branch for each person. Rational of these measures is to ensure "enough money" for all those withdrawing & others transaction
