Y no profit?
Still earn profit for month of Sep 2013 by using the lowest balance (after withdrawal) to calculate dividend
*
I know you still earn some "profit" but it's kinda sucks because so near to "closing-time" aka dividend & it would be less amount.

Anyway let's people decides what they want to do with their money. If they want to withdraw near dividend time, it's their choice smile.gif We cannot interfere with it nod.gif

Some people use the ASNB product as their retirement plan.
For eg. lets say you have xxx amount in ASB.

Every month, you go to post office to withdraw 3k for your living. This is only dividend money actually.
This is what my FIL been doing all this while.

Talking about Selipar Jepun, I remember once I saw one uncle wearing one with his white pagoda t-shirt. Saw him at the bank, I tot just one "ordinary" pensioner. Suddenly when his turn came, OMG he took out one "big" sum of money for deposit. I think got 80k cash shakehead.gif No one would expect this uncle carry this much money to the bank for deposit.

So moral of the story, don't look down on those wearing selipar jepun with their pagoda t-shirt nod.gif biggrin.gif

So lucky it is just like a savings account with high interest, for the non-bumi once withdrawn from ASNB's funds will be hard to put back in.

Well, if you think only rich people drive big cars, you might be wrong..

Because in my experience as part of the a property sales team, i see people driving Kancil paying a downpayment of RM3X,XXX plus to even RM4X,XXX plus; without even touching their own EPF account 2..

And most of my customers who are driving betters cars are asking questions like ''could I full-loan?", "downpayment too heavy, client want to settle in installment"..

Recently I have spoke to one of my friend, he is driving an old Kancil, but I saw his ASNB account, he got RM50,000 something lei.. brows.gif

Yape, i was like hunting for the news for additional subscriptions every day for the non-bumi..

Once withdrawn once, I feel the pain because not easy for me to put back the money into the account once withdrawn..

Agreed
To avoid this from happening, just setup n implement assets allocation
Withdrawal can come from savings/fd 1st instead of ASW2020/ASM/AS1M (last resort)

Also because of this reason once I got the units in ASNB's fund very reluctant to let go to invest on others. Really tie legs tie hands.

Very lucky la u bro.. when u update ur ASB savings, no one seems like commenting "why update ASB savings, etc". Just don't get it why sometimes I share info then kena taruk kaw2.. Last time people comments "Are you drunk?" before read my comments properly.

Perhaps it is becoz I'm a newbie. That is the reason why I seldom comment in here also. Wanna share knowledge pun kena taruk..
