Hi guys. I’m considering a 2nd hand 208 2013 5 door. Forgive my noob ness as the actual car is not available for viewing.
Is the size of the interior smaller, equal or bigger than the original myvi?
I know the height is lower, but what about width of the driver and passenger seats? For example I consider my myvi able to seat normal adults comfortably in the rear, or enough for 3 for a lunch drive.
Also, what about rear leg room?

QUOTE(ultra_nyamuk @ Oct 21 2018, 11:50 AM) I upgraded from myvi to 208. Overall interior feel roomier on Myvi. I think rear passenger space bigger on Myvi. 208 bootspace is bigger. Driver n front seats far much more comfortable than Myvi. So its give and take space. 208 dimension is bigger but the body is thicker..so it feels smaller than myvi. But the driving exp is unmatched. On highway u wont sway when drive past lorries even at high speeds. Thanks bro for us reply. I read some of ur posts here, so far change sensors n compressor? I wondering mine change compressor under warranty or not....Cos it's almost surely out of warranty. I did go for a sitting test on another 208 nearby and concur with your points on the internal cabin space vs myvi : give or take but more comfortable on the Pug.

QUOTE(ultra_nyamuk @ Oct 22 2018, 02:27 AM) You'll need to check with Service Center i guess. Aircond parts we're under Peugeot recall so i assume most/all 208 in that batch was recalled to change aircond parts. Mine is 2013, first batch. Yeah, temp sensors went haywire.. but quite minor issue, after changed new one no more issue. They are very strict with warranty. CAnnot exceed service interval by 2 weeks (time) or 500km (milage). once exceed, consider void warranty. when i did some warranty claim, they checked EACH service i did if i've exceeded any limit or not. Bro, my car show engine fault, need to service and the car was like jerking limping home. When I switch off the car it the fan was running for some time. Actually this is my first day wi5h the car man.... Can I guess is this the temperature sensor problem? I’m gonna have to fix it out of warranty, what poor luck....

QUOTE(ultra_nyamuk @ Nov 1 2018, 10:23 PM) Could be... temp went up ? temp sensor issue quite simple...and it doesn't affect the engine.. still smooth sailing.. only Aircond because temperature reading is different. Yours might be more serious issue.. better to SC check. Temp is fine....not hot. I reading some posts from FB, now many ppl claim O2 sensor fault could also cause this. Tmr no service centre open in Perak...hai.....

Just to update on my car status. After 2 days showing with Engine Fault (due to weekend), it was taken into the official SC. On the way, I stopped for breakfast and lo and behold, the fault disappeared after a restart.
Was informed by SC this car was updated for Oxygen Sensor SW previously so it wouldn't be that issue. After checking no trouble was found....they suspect could be sensor harness loose or cable fault due to "rat bites". The SC wrapped some of the exposed sensor cable dressings for free. Now the car has been released and is puffing along fine.
Being an Engineer I'm still not satisfied till the root cause is found, so I still suspect actual sensor failure or maybe another common issue being the Battery almost dead (I have no way to tell on this as previous owner couldnt remember, and SC didn't have internal record).
To this end I bought a bluetooth ODB / ELM reader, maybe I can see the error code and do some self diagnosis.
Happy motoring and wish you all have smooth trouble free drives.
