Ermmm...from my experience of owning a MyVi before a 1.3 SE Limited. I sold the car off after 2 years of ownership mileage was less than 100K. Frankly speaking it's not really that good be it quality wise or life of parts. So you make your choice wisely la...
1st month owning it....the player rosak, send to SC for warranty 2 months waiting only got it replaced after countless phone call to ask why so long.....reason many warranty claims have to wait....

4th month AGAIN the player spoil, this time the player and the hands free cannot use..again claim warranty....this time 1 1/2 months waiting....

close to 1year 4 moths. 2 headlights start to have sign of minor cracking on top slowly the cracks extend to the whole side of the headlight and headlights start to show signs of yellowish...claim warranty claim until car sold also never got it....

Steering rack got sound claimed warranty twice already lucky got stock....

rear brake drum 3 times also SC can't solved the juddering problem...try claim warranty SC said wear and tear cannot claim...want to change then change whole brake assembly....F*** them I got chop shop buy a set of YRV rear brake set and change outside..problem solved...

Front absorber also claim warranty 1 time, got sound at 1st SC don't want to claim but after I make huge fuss about it then agree it's premature failure. Then only change it but need to wait 3 weeks...

Power window switch also change before.

Then I saw a new MyVi Extreme 1.5 1 year old car...belongs to my friend...rear light masuk air can keep gold fish already....

My MyVi had a minor bump (less than 5km/h) with a 8 inch tall concrete bump....concrete 1 my front bumper 0.....I just accidentally bump into that thing and half of my bumper fall off and all the clips patah....

So you tell me how good is P2? Don't put so high hope on them and don't think because they are abang adik with Daihatsu or Toyota the quality will be as good....I have friends working in the local parts plant that supply to P2 and I know a thing or 2 about the QC....Also those staff working in P2 also some of them from P1...

All I can say is P2 packaging looks very nice outside and look solid but don't let those things fool you. The intim inside is not what think you are paying for. I'm not bad mouthing P2 but just to wake some still half sleeping consumer who thinks the every cents they pay to get a P2 is worth it. Actually you are over paying for something that is much cheaper in actual. Don't let the branding and the SA drag your nose along. Do more research and survey and most important don't buy stuff following the brand name or hear what the aunty uncle say this bery good buy...P2 and P1 about the same QC...also hit or miss one....


If you want really good car with very good quality that have very less problems then suggest you save up money to buy CBU cars but still this CBU sometimes have problems.....

Yesterday rode shotgun in my friend's Evo9....make me whole night cannot sleep and keep thinking about my old ride in Japan when I was working there.... Make me remember all those fun time I had with my Evo8 MR. Due to personal reason didn't decided to bring her back and sold it off....last I got to know was a guy from Sannomiya area bought the car. 550hp of pure power.....barrelling down the aqualine and would bump into some tuners demo car and the weekend night meets at Daikoku PA....

I miss you so much...I miss those time ....It's been quite a while I went back to Japan like almost 1 year + planning to go for next TAS 2014 in Jan...finger cross hope can make it....

1st time I met her....


Then change shoes for her after bought her over...bought the car at a very good price (7x,xxx) from a local Japanese friend there who change to a Audi A3.

The car 1st started off with the E8 MR engine but the previous owner (a girl) was stupid enough to blew it up (making a hole at the cylinder block) for what? for trying top speed and maxing out the boost with stock internals. So after that she went to a few chop shop and source a Evo9 MR engine. The donor car was rear ended by a truck so it went to scrap.

The car was maintained and tuned by HKS so it's pretty reliable so far in my ownership. Stock internals were good until 400hp but the girl learned her lesson and hand over the car to HKS for the target of 550hp...

Now you see why my gaga front I do like that....

I'm uncle driver...
