urghhh but why would you aim for the support that doesn't even have mek?

Alright which among these three on the enemy team would you kill first if you were the semi carry for your team and you picked sf.
1) Windrunner that has orchid
2) Kotl that has mek and rod of atos
3) Lina that has drums and wards

If your answer is 3 then I guess it was fair that I kept dying. I guess I could've bought ghost scepter but razes would eff me up either ways. ....except I could've tried buying a cloak and trying to survive. Bad item decisions were made to get drums, fml

It doesn't help that the sf uses sb+bkb and walks all the way to the back just to kill supports first

I played against them, it was funny to see them ragequitting almost instantly

SB is not squishy early game, what're you talking about? He starts with about 600~700 hp and 5+ armor I think, he's definitely pretty damn tanky

check his other matches, they're almost all normal besides the Witch Doctor one

Maybe he party'd with Dendi through stream or something

I party'd with a few friends that linked their accounts with DotaBuff, but I only played like 1 game with them it registered me as no friends either


I see certain pro players like DK.Burning are also apparently still in the Normal bracket, wtf determines your skill bracket seriously

Buy 1 stout shield, 1 quelling blade and 1 tango/salve, or alternatively 2 stout shields and 1 tango/salve, ask your friend to pick Treant protector and non-stop spam living armor on you(fk your other teammates and towers) from level 1 until you can start jungling without living armor

in other words : it sucks, don't even try this shit

EDIT: I just reread that and I might have interpretted it wrongly, I just assumed when you said "jungling" it meant lvl1 jungling. If you want to jungle as a PA you only need battlefury and a decent amount of levels

I think it's a bug that's been around since guild system came out, try restarting doto



Btw, on the topic of PA, I saw someone build a no Battlefury PA build. This guy went Maelstrom+Yasha into a bkb and later on upgraded into Manta+Mjollnir. I thought this build was really unique because although it lacks burst damage from crit but PA attacks pretty damn fast and she crits more often. Illusions can also use Blur and her ult and Manta illusions deal 33% damage since she's a melee.

What do you guys think of this build?

BKB protects you from dirty blade mail pickups but yeah I guess faster attack speed and less damage does make you take more damage from Centaur's return. It doesn't hurt to add lifesteal into the build though I guess, it's only about 2k gold unless you upgrade to a Satanic.

Well, I forgot but I just remembered Lod[A] did the Manta+Lifesteal build on PA before using empower from Magnus as cleave.

Why skadi if you just said she doesn't need big items

I personally prefer big items because PA's a hard carry though I understand your item build choice. It's just a preference though so anything goes.

Pure damage is not negated by armor value or magical resistance, but it doesn't damage magic immune units. SURPRISE!!!

Personally I think Butterfly's a bad item on PA because she doesn't benefit from the evasion it gives. You're basically spending 6k gold for an item that gives PA 30 damage, 30 agility and 30 attack speed.

I think your item build for PA revolves more around ganking, I may be wrong but when I see people getting orb of venoms they tend to want to gank more than farm and carry(Riki, Bounty Hunter, roaming heroes).

hmmm, guys how do I make the manta style PA build work?

it doesn't help too much in farming though, which is my problem with the build

because illusions can crit!!

they damage a percentage of the red number, and I think it's still a rather big number even after reducing it to illusion damage

Skadi + Lifesteal currently works for melee heroes I think, probably a bug
