Demand: Huge housing estate here, including apartments and condominiums nearby. Apartments that located 1-2KM away all having TIME fiber coverage, while no UniFi available here. Been waiting since 2012, promise was made that UniFi to be available in Q4 2012, never happen until now. My address is located at Jalan Khoo Hye Keat, 11500 Air Itam, Penang. Hopefully we can get it available as soonest as possible. The last email I got from TM was "However, TM is planning to provide Unifi service based on high utilization request from the resident at the area and consideration will be given within the next 6 months to access if TM meet the guidelines HSBB infrastructure development as needed. In regard with Streamyx issue, please note that the Dynamic IP address will be changing within the same Internet Protocol range."

Disappointed user with TM. The nearest port for Unifi Business just 10meters away from my house. But that is reserved for Banks/Commercial. The banks such as Agro,Hong Leong and Public has been using Unifi for years. But loyal user as me still using Streamyx. Go through several agents/TM points but the feedback is only "Wait" TM is focus to new housing area currently.

I suggest, create petition and ask for 100 signatures(just to be safe. I myself got 70ish) to beg TM to install fiber optic cables to your place.

Submit to SKMM, www.complain.cfm.org.my and CC Tm.

Time to walk the neighbourhood and make some friends.

I did. Now 1 year later, I have unifi choice. (but I hold out on signing as it is freaking expensive now.)
