Playing from Malaysia here, which server are most people on? Masamune or Tonberry?

I'm just download the demo version to try out before buying. Anyone know if the character is transferable if I move on to the paid version?

I see many people recommending Tonberry server but it's based in JP, yes? Since I study in the UK, I'm wondering if it'll be a wise choice to be registered in that server. Will I have high latency due to the distance? Sorry, been ages since I've played MMORPG.

I barely started playing so any server is fine with me. I tried to join Tonberry but I guess it's too popular bc it's always full so I made a character in Masamune instead

how long do i expect for square enix to reply my query.

i cancel my account, i need to reuse the email tie to it to create new account.

Hi all,

I just recently bought the bundle set for A Realm Reborn and Heavensward for R2.

During the patching of the game (around 13k MB), it will always download around 1-2MB of data and the speed drops to 0. I will then get the error code 20512, 20496 "Unable to patch game". I have googled through several sites and were not able to get an answer for this. I've tried this for several times and just can't get the game to patch properly. I don't believe it to be an issue with Unifi as my download of games from PSN goes smoothly around 2-3MBPS.

I have tried:
Resetting my PS4
Resetting my Modem
Rerouting it as LAN cable connection
Deleted and re-installed the game

Anyone here faced this problem as well?

My last account died because of this suspicious activity thing.

If I use the Android security token app thing, can I totally avoid this issue? It's a huge pain in the ass to have to change passwords every other day.

EDIT: Read the user reviews on Google Play, and it seems to be an absolute mess....

Is not a mess, is because ppl can't and don't want to read, and yes having the token will avoid the suspicious activity thing.


It became a mess because ppl do not save their emergency code, thus having problem removing it, they also tend to not put their real birthdate when customer service asking for verification of the account,

All this review just mirk with people who do not want to take that extra steps to secure their IDs.

Just make sure once u have installed the square enix token, take down the emergency token code for removal incase you've reformated/change phone.

Oh, OK.

One more thing... Do I still need to register with fake UK addresses etc?

OK, maybe 2. There is still no need for proxies right?

Up to you if you want to, any address will be fine, just make sure to remember them, SE Customer service may use it to ask for verification of your account.
Proxy for? never needed to proxy for FFXIV.
