Definitely getting France as well... very VERY smart kit. But maybe after the WC when the prices are set for clearance tongue.gif
*
Yeap, they'll most probably reduce the price for about 20% to 30% after that but from my experience is that the available sizes usually are very limited and these vendors don't restock anymore unless your size is not between S and M then you're quite safe.

how come this version has the Johnson & Johnson print at the back?

Anyway, I've unwrapped the France World Cup 2014 Away Kit and i'm sharing some pictures with you guys.

The first thing i noticed on this Away shirt is that the texture of the material used is different from the Home shirt. This feels more rigid and seems like there are more "plastic" composition in this one but it is all good since it gives the shirt form compared to the Home shirt where it's very soft. However this rigidity does not affect the comfort at all, it's still very comfortable to wear.

You can also see that the miniature holes on this shirt is more apparent than the Home shirt.

The only downside of this shirt is probably the neckline where there is no collar instead a short stump is employed and because of this design you will have gaps between your neck and the neckline. Maybe the player issue would give a better fitting in this area.

Overall great shirt. Can't wait to see the players wear this on the pitch!

it's always quite difficult to tell which is authentic and which is not UNLESS you have been a collector for that one particular brand then on sight, you'll be able to notice.

if you are just a normal consumer who wants to purchase it for that special occasion then i'd really advise you to drop by their official stores and grab them, peace of mind.

whatever it is, so far the best indicator is the price. i have not come across a seller who sells fake jerseys to people with the price of an authentic because the seller would have expect that the purchaser would have a little bit wee knowledge on how to differentiate the same.

thanks bro. Before i buy jersey in Protech Kit Zone, i check from here first that it is a trusted seller. Then I only proceed to buy from Protech. I contact them via email but they did not get back to me.
*
Yeap, not to worry. Protechkitzone is trust worthy seller. I bought my Arsenal Away 2013/2014 from them but delivery was delayed for about 2 weeks laugh.gif

I pre-ordered from them and paid about 2 weeks before the scheduled delivery date but the shirt was not delivered to me 2 weeks later. compared to other online Vendors, it seems like they don't keep much stock in hand. this is why you find yourselves stuck in delayed delivery because they have re-order from suppliers.

hello, for those who handwash their own jersey, usually how much detergent you add and how long you rinse it before putting out to dry?

cause when I do so the detergent never seems to completely washed away from my jersey (water still got a bit of bubble after rinsing many times) so I always wonder whether I got wash properly or not... lol
*
Never use liquid detergent as these could mess up the fabric hence rendering them less effective. Not sure about which brand your jersey is but for Nike, it is recommended by them that their jerseys are to be washed with powder detergent only. Liquid detergent may clot up the micro holes on the fabric causing the "sweat wicking" ability to reduce tremendously.

I usually use no more than one table spoon of powder detergent even if i sweat in it because the fabric doesn't really absorb sweat. My objective is to get rid of any possible body oil on the fabric (which is not much) and that's it. We don't want to thin the fabric as well.

Soaking it in for about 5 to 6 minutes and then rinse lightly without twisting it, just gentle squeezing it until it is relatively dry and this can be achieve very easily as these fabric don't absorb water. After that, just put it in the washing machine to spin dry (on light mode).

Hang it in my room with the fan on to dry. Remember to use the right hangar as too thin a hangar may leave "hangar marks" on the shoulder of the jersey which is horrible. It's very hard to even out these "marks" even by ironing.

That's it.

liquid detergents are very concentrated which is why you are having a hard time getting a clean rinse every time.

you are welcome.

flip to the end of the wash tag and you should be able to see a small tag with serial numbers printed on it. that serial number should corresponds with the serial number printed on the price tag.

why not drop by their shop to see, they have an address.

there's no way to determine if they are carrying fakes or authentics since I think no one brought any shirt from them yet.

or alternatively, just to be safe, make orders from one of the authorized sellers here whom are verified to be good vendors.

that should give you the peace of mind.

I don't think Nike purposely compromised on the quality for Malaysian kit only. On what occasion did you used your jersey for and how did the "hole" developed? Is it that you accidentally got your shirt hooked on something sharp? I don't think the shirt would just develop "holes" through proper management.

I think your case is a heavy one. Instead of just the string being pulled up, it actually breaks which is why it gave way.

just want to check with you all that have order jersey with protech kit zone, usually how long after payment have been made that you will get your order? I know that it is stated 4 - 7 working days since it is on stock but I left a message through their FB but no response from them.
Thanks

Protechkitzone is a bit slow to response but they usually arranged for delivery on the next working day via poslaju once payment is confirmed. Don't worry, they are legit.

Just put an order at protech kit zone website for Honda #4 Japan 2014 Home kit. They wouldn't list an out-of-stock item on their website right? Hopefully can receive it in a few days..*fingercrossed*  unsure.gif

Btw, Honda is quite popular eh? 3 site I go all sold out edi while all other big name in Japan team still available..
*
They wouldn't list "out of stock" items on their website but with the influx of orders, they may not have the time to properly amend the website toe reflect the actual situation. It's best if you could contact them directly on the shirt if it bothers you.

Went to Pavilion KL yesterday with my fiancee and I thought since I'm there, might as well check out the Puma Store there which is located in Level 5 to see what Arsenal items have they brought in. Quite a variety of apparels they have. They have the Home and Away shirt but the 3rd Kit is no where to be seen. They also have the Puma polo tee but only in blue.

I couldn't help myself but to get my hands on one of these XD

Didn't intend to get it at first because it wasn't really appealing to me when it was first released in the press but the actual product changed my mind and here is my short review.

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Unlike what Nike has done with the Arsenal crest, Puma has a different way of doing things. Instead of having the crest woven, the crest is heat pressed onto the shirt. The material of the crest is also different altogether, this one has a PU feel to it whereas the Nike has a fabric feel to it. I personally prefer the Nike version of the crest because it has that "shine" factor to it (the background has 2 tones). The Puma version seems to be slightly glossy in appearance hence also giving it that "shine" factor. Each with its own pros.
» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

On the left side of the shirt, you have the Puma cat very neatly woven onto the shirt.

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Instead of having "victoria concordia crescit", Puma uses "Future, Forever, Victorious". Apparently, this special phrase has more meaning to it. Future refers to the "3rd Kit", Forever refers to the "Home kit" and Victorious refers to the "Away kit". If you look carefully, the text "Forever" is highlighted in Bold on the Home kit and the text "Victorious" is highlighted in Bold on the Away kit therefore one can safely assumed that the text "Future" will be highlighted in the "3rd kit".

I am used to Nike's "Dri-Fit" and I am starting to get myself familiarize wth Puma's "Dry-cell". Both with different names but apparently, one of the same thing. The function is to wick away sweat effectively and supposedly to cool you down faster when you're being active. My experiences with Dri Fit has so far been very commendable but I have yet to try out "Dry-cell".

As you can see, the overall micro holes in the shirt are smaller compared to Nike's Dri Fit.

The material used by both companies also differs tremendously and you can easily notice it by the feel of the texture. Nike has more of a form and substance to the shirt whereas Puma seems to be a little bit "soft". Puma's constructions seems to focus on lining up with the wearer's body, giving it a more natural feel to it making the wearer feels like the shirt is the second skin. Plausible idea but this has give off an impression that the shirt is of cheaper material.

On the side under the armpits, you have ventilation mesh with holes just like Nike once used to have until they adopted the laser chevron holes which to be honest, i find it a more to aesthetics than anything else.

The sponsors. Nike's material used is closer to the PS-PRO material used for the NNs. The Puma ones felt much thinner and hence more flexibility but this could possible cause the durability to reduce tremendously as well.

The bad thing about the material used by Nike for the sponsors is that they can be quite "hard" at times because I can sometimes feel the sponsors when I am wearing them but i felt none while w Puma. This is definitely a plus! Makes it less rigid and more comfortable to wear.

On each side of the sleeves you have the Puma cat carefully woven in red and the fraction of red stripes at the end of the sleeves.

... and this, I have no idea what it represents. It seems that this somehow points to the heritage of Arsenal embodying all the colors of Arsenal. Not sure.

Overall, this is a must get shirt for all Arsenal fans because it marks the beginning of a new "era". I have no complain on the design and coloring scheme for the Home shirt but I reserve them for the Away shirt which I will not get unless it tags a hefty discount to it.

The first thing that I noticed when i first put this Puma on was how comfortable it was. I was actually surprised. I have the want to wear it everyday, this did not happen with the Nike.

Bought it for RM259.00.

Wow. You're really skinny aren't you? Maybe it's time for you to put on some weight laugh.gif

Not sure about Adidas but if i am not mistaken, Adidas stopped producing "Tech-Fits" and replace them with "Adi-Zero"?

Isn't much benefit to tracking I feel, unless your area has unreliable delivery service. Most times, I found standard delivery to be more than sufficient as well. Haven't lost a package yet, bless my luck.
*
Well, you're lucky in the sense that you have not have any of your packages gone missing half way yet. I have and I still regret it until today because I was relying too much on the "Free Global Shipping" nonsense. The items I ordered since December 2013, did not reach me until today and the representative of the website (uksoccershop.com) has been ignoring me since April 2014.

From now on, if i were to purchase anything online, I'd spent that extra bucks for a peace of mind.

ANYWAY, anyone bought the Arsenal Puma Third Kit yet?

Mine is scheduled to arrive today, pictures to follow!

yeap, just to name a few, 442kit, protechkitzone, kitpride are all legit authentic jersey sellers.

it's difficult to compare piece by piece because no one piece are create equal to the other, there may be some minor discrepancies between them but on an all, all the major features should be present.

Anyway, my Arsenal Third Kit finally arrived yesterday after ordering from 442kit.com on September 1st, 2014. Initially, i wanted to buy from my local Puma store but apparently, out of the 3 stores i inquired, only one has them and the size that I was looking for, was the last one and it was a display unit therefore i have decided to buy it online.

First impression of the third kit, stunning.

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Although I am not a fan of stripes but I think Puma has pretty much nailed this third kit with it and the color scheme Puma employed seems to sealed the deal.

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

As predicted, this will be Arsenal's "Future" kit.

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

The same heat pressed PU badge is also used here but with a slight difference. In comparison with the PU badge used in the Home kit, the PU badge in this third kit seems a little less "embossed", the ridges that forms the 3D effects have been trimmed down giving it a "one piece" look. It's remotely similar to the ones Nike used to put on their Player Issues.

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

Unlike Nike's "collared" shirts, the buttons on this Puma is purely cosmetic. You can't use them in any manner whatsoever, they are sewed dead on the shirt and there are no openings for your to slot them in. The collar of this shirt is also sewed on to the body of the shirt and that means, no popping out the collars. This may make or break the deal for some people however, it didn't affect me much.

The only thing that bothered me with this "locked" position is when putting the shirt on because of the inability to loosen the buttons on the neck/chest area, you need to stretch the fabric a bit to accommodate your head. Of course this can be avoided if you buy a bigger size but then it will not fit properly

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

The details on the shirt are printed and the "heat transfer tape", just like the ones in the Home kit, is heat pressed on.

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

No difference on the design on the sleeves except for the color scheme.

» Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... «

The Puma "Dry-Cell" technology. I have yet to examine how effective it is compared to Nike's "Dri-Fit". The fabric is exactly like the Home kit.

Overall, this is a stunning looking shirt and i think may cause some head to turn. To be honest, I was surprised why Arsenal made this its "Third Kit" instead of its "Away" because I think the Away has more of an "European" feel to it.

I fell in love with Arsenal's blue themed kit when i first saw its 02/03 away kit but regretted until today for not purchasing it so, i kinda thank Puma for releasing something similar to it.
