Not surprising. 5 years ago, my 42PV80H also had one dead pixel. had to send back to panasonic but that was ok coz i can watch first and then they replace in front of me.

Tested with solid colour background photos

Come to think of it, I never really run such test on my TV, maybe I should try, then if found out dead pixels will be doh.gif

Agreed.

Once you see it, it will haunt you night and day

Check but surprisingly didn't found any scrolling through black, while, red, blue, green in JPEG, randomly rclxms.gif
But did noticed that if you look really really really close, the pixels is actually jumping... not consistently, wonder is it ok rclxub.gif

Does  anyone know how to disable TV speakers on a ST60?
I have a soundbar connected with the panny remote having learned to soundbar volume buttons. But the TV volume still goes up and down with the soundbar.
*
How is the sound bar connected to your TV? HDMI? If you use the HDMI ARC, the sound from TV should be muted automatically

Using optical out. Toslink cable if im not wrong.
Astro to tv via hdmi repeater. Anyhow the soundbar only has optical, rca and 3.5mm input.
*
I think your setup using Toslink is the most optimum already. I think you will just have to control both the sound bar and the TV sound independently.

Shengz, 15 feet is actually quite a distance away from the TV.  It would be best to buy the largest possible size that your budget allows.

I sit about 13 feet away from my 65" plasma, and it is OK to me, but would have preferred slightly larger.
*
I totally Support what mykchin8 said. Buy the largest possible you are able to afford...

I was quite worried that I would be disappointed at *only* have a 60" and not the 65" that I actually wanted (but can't get).

But once the guys hung it up - it's like, it truly belongs in the space that was previously taken up by my 40" LCD. The other half now commented that a proper display rack is needed, not a bare white wall..haha

Nice setup you have there drool.gif

May i know what panasonic shop you mean?
I just want to buy the cam for skype sad.gif
Any online shop?
*
I bought it at a Panashop in johor. The owner just want to clear his old stock so selling super cheap.
Becaureful with other non-panasonic cam as it may not be compatible.
The cam quite easy to setup, just plug and play and login to skype, everytime the TV is on, the skype account is active. My parents uses it with ease. biggrin.gif

These will be the last of 65ST60 plasma from panasonic. If I were to upgrade my TV next time... I guess it will be when UHD source is widely available... Agree with idoblu... 65ST60 is just pure awesome....
