it depends on the person how to convert it... some use simple coverter to convert but some use professinal converter to convert, & u can see the difference...

for 720p & 1080p display on tv screen, can u actually tell the diff?

try not to meddling your laptop resolution thruput but compare both using the same source of 720p & 1080p content

didn't believe them until i asked a few other shops

I have been like most of you search around for Panasonic TV, as all this while I only like Plasma, while looking for one,  this two come across my search.

TH-P60S60K - 60" RM3999 (as one bro say he bought at this price)
P65ST60K 65"  (above 8k) - My Choice TV.

I try to lower my request search around for LG and Samsung, turn out those are not cheap either, even more expensive.

As my requirement must be 65", seems now the 3D craze, no one interested in producing non 3D tv anymore, that push up the price. If this mode TH-P60S60K have a 65" or 70", I would believe is a best seller for large screen, AS I am not really sure if most of you here really use the 3D very often. for me, i don't plan to..

My Budget is Less thanless than 7k, and finally i found this, though is not plasma,but also a 65" LED.

I would like to hear your comment on this model, as this is the only one which seems to fit my budget for 65" screen. any pro con for this model. Thanks

Thanks for the info, I'm a bit worry as my TV side do not have aircond or fan on top, and it distance from the sofa side about 15 feet where the fan ceiling with, can't really feel ventilated from TV side.

I think he was saying after few months , panasonic will stop producing plasma . Plasma tech gonna end soon and will be replaced by oled .

proper cooling is important to extend your plasma tv life. overheating might occur when its on "torch mode"  and 3d mode, for prolong period or for general usage. During overheating the internal voltage may shift a bit, which may cause problems and anomalies.

U can buy some cheap pc fans / laptops and fixed them behind ventilation holes. The right portion of the plasma from front is the hottest spot. The center is the power supply board. But it can be different, its not diffcult, just by touching only u can tell.

NEVER power your plasma on the same powerline with other high powered devices such as portable aircon, heater kettle and etc.

Never  power your plasma with a generator, plasma is AC sensitive.

Well I waited. it came... and there were 2 dead pixels. Red sub pixels were dead coz they only appeared on the red background... 2 black dots only when it was a red background. they turn greenish when it's a white background/grey. Otherwise in green, blue and black, nothing

Sigh.

Have to wait for another 24 hours... And hopefully the 2nd unit doesn't have any issues
