somebody should tell SE, that early access is not beta. there were a lot of problems in NA/EU servers resulting in this maintenance.

You'll need to follow the main quest till joining a Grand Company.
Once join just farm 2000 seals (GC currency) and exchange for a Chocobo contract which is part of your GC quest.

Problems are to be expected even in early access, even on launch day. Major mmo's.. well most of them anyway have horrible launches. Rift, GW2 heck even WoW launch was horrendous, so I don't really see the point of whining when SE is trying to resolve the bugs as soon as possible

Must be your first time in MMO launch mate? This is actually quite mild compare to other MMOs.

Indeed, which is great that they acknowledge the problems and are quickly trying to solve it as quick as they can.

I dunno y so many peeps r complaining it is a bad launch. The game work flawlessly for me lol and only like an hour ago server was taken down for maintenance. Pretty happy they did this, needed a rest anyway

For me, this is the best launch ever in JP server. Didn't find and glitch yet.

They did their stress tests during Beta, but the number of players during both OBT and EA both differ.

That said, probably 80% players who bought the game have Early Access bonus. So this is to be expected.

i dare you to talk like that in the official forums. hundreds of angry paying subsribers there will flame you for talking like a SE fanboy. that's what happening over there now.

Like i said must be your first time MMOrpg Launch. is always like that one, be it SWTOR, GW2, and many2 more AAA mmorpgs that face this exact same thing you mention.

I havent seen any hint of pvp in the game. Or is it not implemented yet?
