No, the keycaps sucks even moar than laptop keyboard. Too flat, sharp and edgy.
Mx switch is designed to be use with high profile.

Ultraflat+mono profile is a pure fail.

Keycaps not a concern, you eventually gonna change them.

Pinging issues, yar, some ppl is concerned by the resonance sound. But since you are getting blue switches, I doubt you will notice the feeble pinging sound.
*
Aside from these two issues, what do you think about this keyboard as a whole?
E.g: Typing experience, build quality... Since Filco is a Japanese I was expecting high "QUALITY" and "QC" screaming all over it but I might be wrong.

filco is a Japanese made in Taiwan, lololol.

If you really want pure Japan made board, hhkb or realforce (except the heaven) are made in Japan iinm.

But I think filco is fine enough, it is among the top tier in non custom keyboard.

Non cherry count? Backlit?

Locally, cheapest tkl is the Rapoo v7's clone brother, Armageddon eagle what what. If cherry mx then I think is qfr.

In china, another Rapoo v7 clone - genius m1 should be the cheapest.

But the what what 机械狮 should be the cheapest cherry mx tkl at price below 300rmb. Other brands also got close competitor at around 300rmb but not much are tkl (mostly full size)

The cheapest default backlit board should be the 机械狮 backlit version, just come out and priced at 400rmb iinm.

Hello guys, after looking around sometime, I've finally decided to settle down Filco Majestouch 2 Blue Switch as my first mechanical keyboard.

After reading some online review, it seems that this keyboard suffers from low quality keycaps printing and "Ping" issue. Both issue are still tolerable for my point of view as I can change the keycaps and the "Ping" doesn't occur on each keyboard + it seems easy to fix. Although it is a bit disappointing such an expensive keyboard suffer from these issues.

Anyone here can give me a bit more input before I pull the trigger?
*
Filco is a solid choice.

no need be so paranoid to those online reviews, the keycap printing and ping issues are rather small case.

if you keep thinking about a product's "possible" issues, you're not enjoying the product, instead you're trying to find the defects on the product.
