Hello guys, I'm planning to get myself a mechanical keyboard and I was wondering if you guys can recommend something that you think would be suitable for someone who is getting his first mechanical keyboard a.k.a first love.
Currently I'm interested in getting a Das Keyboard Professional Model S or ducky shine 3 or ducky zero (blue or brown switch, still deciding), any advises would be greatly appreciated.
As for my preference, I prefer a black keyboard, backlight would be a great add-on such as ducky shine 3 but totally optional, I'm more concerned about the construction and overall typing pleasure.

Hello guys, after looking around sometime, I've finally decided to settle down Filco Majestouch 2 Blue Switch as my first mechanical keyboard.
After reading some online review, it seems that this keyboard suffers from low quality keycaps printing and "Ping" issue. Both issue are still tolerable for my point of view as I can change the keycaps and the "Ping" doesn't occur on each keyboard + it seems easy to fix. Although it is a bit disappointing such an expensive keyboard suffer from these issues.
Anyone here can give me a bit more input before I pull the trigger?

QUOTE(Human10 @ Aug 28 2013, 12:13 PM) Keycaps not a concern, you eventually gonna change them. Pinging issues, yar, some ppl is concerned by the resonance sound. But since you are getting blue switches, I doubt you will notice the feeble pinging sound. Aside from these two issues, what do you think about this keyboard as a whole? E.g: Typing experience, build quality... Since Filco is a Japanese I was expecting high "QUALITY" and "QC" screaming all over it but I might be wrong.
