My favorite bike shop ( NOT MBS huh!) . It's Kimbell Jaya near my place in Cheras Perdana. I get most of the accessories very much cheaper here. I don't get charged three different price for three different occassions for the same inner tubes!  rclxub.gif  Also most of his bikes in store are all booked with deposit. He allows it!

whoa.... RM 180?? really?? drool.gif

sure is not RM280?? or tauke mistaken liao?? laugh.gif biggrin.gif

this light @ bbs sewleong selling 280, private pg fler 320 wor....
@ amazon uk is BP81.45 which is roughly RM4++.
@ Aus online ~A$134.99 ~ RM4++.

someone shud go kimbell n grab it.. before its too late... biggrin.gif

this moon is china brand...
the product n features is quite impressive...
not sure why still haven't hit the US market yet...
else will have a lot of extensive reviews from flashaholics there.

with removable battery, means you can carry extras, and there will be replacements
as long as the company is producing it, and din close shop biggrin.gif

tho knog claims that the batt in their light can last up to 1800 charging cycles,
but they didn't state the lifespan of the battery.
if u charge 20 times in a month. 1.8k is = 7.5 years..
but most likely the batt won't survive that long even tho haven't reach 1.8k cycle...

Hi

I was thinking of getting a folding bike for exercise. I would like to get some advice about this folding bike deal i saw on mydeals:
http://www.mydeal.com.my/deals/kuala-lumpu...ry-nationwide-0

May I know if it is worth buying? Need to consult your expert opinion. Thanks
*
go to bicycle shops and check out the folding bikes from the cheapest to higher prices.
then u will be able to see what kind of bike u will be getting when u pay RM 500 or less...
and maybe will get some advice from the shop owner as well...
or maybe u might be able to test ride it and compare....

Any tips for me?

u can park at monumen alaf baru, that's the place to start,
instead of parking near the mosque where there is no shade.

read this article about Mezzo / Ori...
n there are comparison with brommie, curve, birdie...

http://www.foldsoc.co.uk/Mike/MikesMezzo/M...ml#9._Comapared

ori fold kinda like birdy...
for first timer kinda like.. " messy " laugh.gif

these bikes have more joints n hinges compared to dahon etc...
another thing is these taiwanese makers always price it $$$$ eg pacific rich, carry me....
and it won't be any cheaper..

so dahon used to be the best bang for the buck..... until this year..... doh.gif

probably the only way to get all these... is to custom make from scratch... laugh.gif

16in foldies, are kinda rare... china production got a lot... but....

as always for smaller wheels, they don't put in more speed... eg, dahon curve, jifo ( 1 speed 7 sec fold, 9.3 kg )
more speed.. like the bike jumaat tikit.... not that compact or easy to fold....
5 links - not that compact....
brommie - compact - not light enuf....

That's because the main market is for 20 inch foldies. This makes manufacturing lighter components more feasible for the 20 inch foldies. Unless off course  you want to custom order the bikes. I think Bike Friday should be able to take orders for specially made ones.

dun worry budgee.... lotsa parts in china... 14in 16in.... laugh.gif
