1. compare ur gearing with theirs...
2. compare ur cadence with theirs....

3. small wheel can keep up even overtake big wheel, all depends on the rider + gearing...

eg.. ultimate foldie challen last week...
got big wheel foldie ie hummer, montague 700c participate.... in the end... small wheel podium....  biggrin.gif

compare your leg too..

Looking to get a jifo because of fast folding... lightweight because of easy to carry... any1 mod their foldie to less than 10kg? Might share around d exp?
*
Tern/dahon has lightweight model but cost 8k above.

To make it lightweight below 10k, you got to remake the part using titanium. There is not much titanium ready made part, so u got to cnc yourself.

Oic, so which mini velo your going? In KL not so popular right? Mini velo should perform much more better except it cannot fold only. It can handle rough road well without worry about the folding joint. biggrin.gif

In kl, they use tyrell which is mini velo

QUOTE(andrewhtf @ Feb 11 2014, 10:27 AM)
a helmet is a helmet is a helmet.

personally being a biker myself, i have no confidence at all that cyclist helmet offers much protection, if any, as compared to a motorcycle helmet that covers more area of the head.  cyclist helmet only covers the top of head and left the back and sides of the head very much exposed.

nonetheless it would be a no-brainer to wear motorcycle helmet in our hot msian weather for a movement intensive activity that will surely generate lotsa heat and sweat, so this is a compromise i have to take.

i fell once, knocked my head and dragged abit due to momentum. Thank god i have helmet on. Else bye bye

Hi guys, need some advice on purchasing my first bike.
Will be using it to cycle to/from work, place is around kajang/bbb.

A question, how does Dahon Vybe C7A compares to Raleigh Ugo?

From the post around here, it seems like the Dahon brand is the better known one, but the price is rather out of my budget (RM 700-800 ).

On the other side, considering my rather heavy weight, I am worried about getting a subpar folding bike. Any advice?

can get 2nd hand trinx for Rm800

I am soooooooooo donno should i or not to get ... but im in love with the design of JAVAFIT
*
yes u should

because after u r bored with your housing area, you will tend to cycle to other place like Putrajaya or car free day later..

1. where to put the wallet / handphone?
2. when cycling, use mouth or nose to breath?
3. how much pressure pump to tyre? i pump 45 psi (tyre there written 40-60psi)
4. i sometimes cycle to buy things, where can i hook my things...
5. why climb hill so tired, and down hill so fast? my taman road all is hill leh, so difficult for me to ride..
6. what cycling pants you recommend to buy? butt so pain after ride leh, is this normal?
*
1. If you carry bag, you can put in the bag. If you wearing pants while cycling, you can put in the pocket (if your pants have pocket)
2. i suggest you try to use neither of them to breath. if you have fish gills, you can try that
3. you asked the question and you already answered them too. For me, secukup rasa.
4. you can hook anywhere if you wan to as long as it is hooked
5. why walk up stairs so tired and down the stairs so easy?
6. any pants u feel comfortable.

sorry for being sarcastic here but your question kinda funny.

He just told me if climb hill the shift to L if flat road and i want high speed shift to H? how bout the numbers on the right shifter. if on flat road im not cycling fast is it between H and L middle?
