From Google Earth, but you have to click the "Historical Imagery" button (the clock icon) on the top and play with the arrows, as the current default view is showing the 2010 image.Setiawalk Puchong V3

I don't think in this age of technology, lack of signboard will be the death knell of Setiawalk. Come on la, almost everyone has GPS nowadays. You use it the first time to go to Setiawalk, you will know the way the second time. Unless you have a blind sense of direction...
For those who said Setiawalk is a dead place, I don't know if you are joking or what. Most of you here should know better when making such claim especially when you are also staying here. Don't know where is the main facing? Just look for the big signboard, that is the main facing. |

QUOTE(yee11 @ Jun 9 2014, 01:33 PM) look like most people like the view facing hill. maybe is quieter. I bought my unit sub sales, R1. noise is bearable, hardly hear any noise at master bedroom. if you open the sliding door at balcony, noise is from LDP and pub below during night time. If you close it, you will have peace of mind. Nice ones! If you have a DSLR, I'll request a photo of the sunset from you as wallpaper. The reason i buy setiawalk is because i like the sunset view... |

QUOTE(topearn @ Jun 26 2014, 09:00 PM) Giving it funky and difficult to spell names doesn't make it high class....U do not judge a book by its covers. I suppose R stands for Residence. It's a non-issue, really. Usually if friends coming over from the commercial side, you'll either tell them "the middle block", "the block nearest to TGV", or "the block nearest to Bomba", or simply "left, middle or right". Or make reference to Awave for R1, TBF for R2 and San Nae Duel for R3. |

We are lucky that the authority didn't change our condo name to Kondominium Pusat Bandar Puchong Sejahtera, Bahagia, Selamat, Gembira & etc or something else. Let's unite & make this SW a better place rather thn always complaint in forum this & that. Other forummers from other threads are laughing at us by browsing through our thread. QUOTE(ibbrio @ Jul 12 2014, 01:59 PM) for residents, we have to walk pass all the shops, pass all the people, walk up the stairs to the mall and shop. Still better than having to drive out, stuck in traffic jam and circling around looking for parking right? Want real hassle free, try the online delivery. Just sit at home and don't even need to walk out of the door maybe trigon residents have the advantage no exposure to rain; whether direct lift down to supermarket r1-r3 to avoid rain we have to walk up to 1st floor and cross the covered bridge before down again to the mall area covered way. for outside shoppers they have to find a car park directly below the supermarket with lift? |

QUOTE(Marine Boy @ Jul 14 2014, 01:37 PM) In this world we have many funny creatures... always blaming and complaining. If complaints which can turn-around an attitude or situation, its good but "No"; it is always over petty things. Consumers love to shop, eat, drink and even watch a movie. Besides all these, the ambience must be soothing, refreshing and eye-catching. As for me, i would love to eat and watch stream of water bubbling with green foliage and flowering plants. After eating & drinking a cuppa of coffee with friends, we can catch a movie. After a movie, we can have dinner while the sun set and enjoy the lights being lighted up at the common areas. I agree with your comments. |

QUOTE(re_freako @ Jul 14 2014, 09:25 PM) From the video from cdtup, why so easy to go into the flat unit? Give fake ic to guard, then can go in by just mention unit number?? Nowadays condo also not safe. Even though visitors give IC to the guard, the guard will still intercom the resident to confirm they are expecting visitors. |

QUOTE(re_freako @ Jul 24 2014, 04:11 PM) Unfortunately, location access is still bad. There are ample of lrt station that's nearer to town. One can argue that sw will be next bukit bintand but it's really not there yet. Pavilion, lot 10 and mid valley is different from setiawalk, they r professional in handling big mall. It's their core business. Setiawalk mall is someting that build by developer in whole lot to lure residential buyer and create fake dream. The way I look at it, if this place success with more pub like bf it will only be good for rental but never good for capital appreciation and own stay. If good for cap appreciation and own stay get rid of all the pub and the all those happening stuff is missing = still a minus point for rental. The main problem is too many fnb and shop lot contain inside the development and not next to it. It will depends on what is the main reason sw project contruct for. Will look forward to pass by in 1-2 years time if the paint on building started to drop yet not fully occupy this place is in big problem. The main problem is the development is too big and do not have an effective management team. Condo management team in Malaysia. Hard to trust at all. Dunno who is so ambitious and want to compare SW with Pavillion, BB, etc. SW is a neighbourhood street mall, period. Don't forget the big piece of land that Tesco is sitting on, in Puchong's Golden Mile centre. Whoever that owns that land must be having some big plan for it in the future, moreover with the LRT station just next to it. More appreciation for SW then. |

QUOTE(re_freako @ Aug 6 2014, 11:02 AM) I'm not owner just interested in purchasing a subsale unit for investment after see a lot of owner flattering on their unit. Just want to make a deep research before dumping my money in. Hope to get clear picture on what's happening inside. Do your unit have access card lock provided at main entrance door? Visitor can enter the LG main lobby with security guard based at the counter 24/7, past the guard you need access card to enter the lift lobby before you can go up to the units. At L1 entrance, you also need access card to enter the lift lobby. Staircase entry from carpark also require access card. |

QUOTE(yee11 @ Aug 13 2014, 03:00 PM) I really hope that resident card is required to access their respective floor to add security. We already have card access to enter lift lobby, we don't need card access AGAIN to press the lift buttons. It doesn't justify the extra $$ spent for installation and maintenance of this no more extra security enhancement.Even my previous 10 years apartment is now equip with card access, the resident can only access the lift with resident card. Another good thing is management can block the resident card if owner didn't pay the maintenance. |

Sometimes, I forgot to bring my access card when I go downstairs to get something. The guard (it's always the same guard by shift) knows me as I pass the main lobby everyday to get to my car and I greet them every time. Most times I have to fill up the visitor log just to get the guard to open the door for me. Sometimes I wish they can lax a bit especially that they know me personally, but I guess that's the price to pay for security. But for sure, the guards will not simply open the door to unfamiliar faces.
