QUOTE(davkong @ Jul 1 2015, 02:06 PM) Initially we were supposed to have direct access from LDP. It was in the approved master plan. However, the RAs from the taman behind make noise. I think SPS has done a great job agreeing to construct the elevated U-turn. MPSJ should be fair to the developer too. The U-turn has been constructed, if it has been checked safe for use, just give the damn approval and let us use it! Many people are using the pedestrian bridge especially those waiting for buses, it is not solely for SW residents' use. MPSJ should take over the maintenance. Not fair to choke it down SW's throat. if both sides could not agree then we will have an impasselike many cases like dunno why the jambatan patah cyberjaya putrajaya is still not constructed again i think it took many years for the slip road from hartamas to mont kiara to be completed worst case this sw bridge will just hang there for years besides the pillar supporting the u turn part looks precarious the bridge like sagging under a thin pillar LRT2 already delayed and progress seems slow at the station next to tesco yet we have LRT3 initiative tired man |

what a waste!
if i could vote, i would vote to keep it (the rock) is an art blocking view? maybe is just an excuse since business is slowing? shanghai theme apparently is going through a major revamp. you can also see from LDP the banner at the outside facade of the mall but it won't be successful without good quality tenants food gotta be good not cincai food people are willing to pay for good delicious yummy food enjoy first, money no problem if lousy food, just skip it! |

IOI Mall side and Bandar Puteri side have their own new bridge linking to LRT stations but I don't see any at SetiaWalk side apart from the old pedestrian bridge. Don't tell me Prasarana cut cost to use this pedestrian bridge to link it?

QUOTE(BUBLEMAN @ Jan 18 2016, 12:17 PM) so is Setiawalk going to have a new bridge connecting to the LRT? I only see there is few beams at the old bridge. by right the pedestrian bridge can really connect to the old bridge to LRT but because of the U flyover cut the pedestrian bridge so it is a sad caseAnd why the direct flyover into setiawalk in block after open right now looks like is a long walk up and down and up to old bridge to LRT |

QUOTE(thecaterpillar @ Mar 15 2016, 01:32 PM) lack of information on such a thingapparently the sign board on top limiting the height of vehicle entering the flyover was taken down not sure whether it was unstable, hit by lorry, or that the flyover is deemed unsafe it is actually under utilised many still prefer to use the lower U turn with metrobus cutting brazenly into all vehicles |

QUOTE(a123 @ Mar 5 2016, 05:26 PM) Three reasons were offered. how do we expose them? report to police1. It blocked the view from block B. 2. It hindered human walking traffic. 3. It looked ugly. Go on site to examine the leftover mark on the floor and you will see reason 1 & 2 is not fully valid. The Jmc member who suggested reason 3 withdrew her vote for dismantling the sculpture. Not sure whether those who wanted to tear down the sculpture have anything to do with the way Management (as managed by PMC Property Services) even ignoring the official written view of COB to bring the issue to an AGM for a decision. Removing an asset that that is part of overall assets that help to set SW apart from the rest of commercial centres in the market, is a step backward. A last term JMC member proposed the number of Jmc members be reduced to 10 during last agm although there were 12 valid volunteers. And the result of the vote shows SPS rep endosed this proposal. So a lower quorum is now needed to pass proposals. Is this good for the management of SW? we must expose them otherwise tenants are voting for nothing!! rubbish people if it true |

QUOTE(a123 @ Aug 26 2016, 09:20 PM) SP Setia indirectly owns SW Mall. This entittles it to about 15pct of total share units. Usually all the owners that turn up in an agm were much less than 15pct of total share units. This means no point voting. SPS one vote would overhelm all the other votes summed up whatever the issue. Last year SPS clearly voted to reduce the number of volunteered jmc members. Less people less noise. SPS is in full control of SW JMB. About RM25k per month is paid to 3 mgt staffs for marketing/promo. So why still such poor performance? Why is mgt not delivering what it promised in bnw? Why is JMB not doing anything to correct this course? SP Setia must hold major responsibility if Setia Walk contine to go downhill. A SPS rep in JMB who just show face for half of meetings time is just not good enough. SW need a more responsible and dedicated one.The success or failure of SW is partly in SP Setia's hand - to go in the right direction or otherwise. Conflict of interest is never good. i wonder how do we overcome this? or propose to the right authority that this development does not present a fair voting right for the owners and perhaps there may be a way to amend existing laws to remove this unfair voting? otherwise we can see inefficiencies in the management of SW and owners will have to pay higher charges for below par services |
