Hye. i got call around 3 pm on last tuesday. they taken test & said if i can give phone interview now.. i said i m busy doing work. (but i was taking a nap that time) so i request to reschedule interview next day. they rescheduled to wednesday around 9.30 am .. i was ready to attend n went through this trend. pretty helpful.. interview went nice (i think) .. then at last they said that i have to attend assessment at petrofac office tower 3 on 11 May n gave details, i stated to jot down but they said they will email. dont wory..

till then, i got no email from them.. .. i will call them on friday may be .. i know the time,date n location. should i proceed without email confirmation or what ?

how long need to wait for email. i need to get prepare help from peers also plz .

I also haven't receive the email. I think they are in the process in doing so. I need the email asap also or else i cant make it. Need to book ticket n etc if im going 😓😓

Anyone ada idea what they will ask? calculations wise regarding on general engineering I think? cause there is not just chemical engineering graduate applying for it. I got just a few days to revise all fluid-momentum, mass heat transport, thermos if that is the case

hye.. i will be going on 11 May too. what time they allocate u . i will be there by 10 am. btw i got my confirmation last wednesday.. will prepare a bit before i go there.. plus they gonna ask simple engineering stuff.. (hope so) ..
i applied as mech engineer. so i will be sticking to gears, compressors n all. plus, i also dont have any idea as my first interview with oil n gas. i ask my friend he said just brush up ur bachelor knowledge. n dont worry. ur way of delivery n detail will be more worth than answer.

not sure, no further info is given. maybe it's an interview before secondment to PML. my interview is 18/5 afternoon

I see, so i'm guessing yours is not under petrofac graduate program? For anyone who went for the aptitude test last monday, can you guys tell me how many questions there were? Any questions on basic engineering?
Or just verbal and numerical reasoning only?

Received a call just now, asking me which of the 3 divisions would I like to join.
i) facility management
ii) something on production
iii) health and safety

I was told they will schedule a phone interview with me soon.

Ex-PML. I used to manage C&P for Facilities and Projects Dept.

Facilities is about managing design & execution for topside, jacket, pipeline, FPSO, MOPU etc. You learn a lot.

Production is okay too - this roles I believe you will be assigned to offshore.

For existing assets for PML is Cendor and West Desaru for block PM304 (PSC) and Berantai for block PM325, this one under RSC for Petrofac Energy JV with SapuraKencana.

Under Cendor, there are one MOPU (sudah decomm) and convert to fix WHP (three WHP to be exact), tie-in to FPSO Cendor and West Desaru WHP.

Under West Desaru, there are one MOPU and two WHP tie-in to FSO WD.

Under Berantai, two WHP tie-in to FPSO Berantai and Angsi GPP platform.

PML - Petrofac Malaysia Ltd managing block PM304 (Cendor & West Desaru), hence, a PSC block.

PED - Petrofac Energy Devt managing block PM325 (Berantai) which is JV with SapuraKencana, hence, a RSC block.

There are other subsidiaries under Petrofac. Lots of them.
