I submitted my resume during the job fair at klcc last month. Maybe you can submit the hard copy of your resume directly to their office?

Congratulations for being shortlisted for the interview!

Well I have no idea of how the programme looks like and how they conduct the interview.

Nevertheless, I can share a number of quick tips of landing the job by performing in the interview, for your reference.

- Do a thorough research about the company, knowing its core business and where they stand in the industry.
- Find out more on the jobscope of the position that you are interviewing for.
- Know yourself, your strengths, your knowledge and skills, and how will you be of contribution to the company.
- If you have the time, I would suggest you to read abit on the recent news that are happening in the industry.

Being able to articulate your thoughts to the interviewers are of high importance, while keeping a humble attitude, be vocal but don't come across as overly confident.

I am sure you will have questions to the interviewers, too. Prepare what you want to ask, and ask it in a way that shows your strong interest in the company as well as the career. The keyword here is "quality questions". When you are asking quality questions, you will be perceived as a serious candidate who has done his homework.

Hopefully the abovementioned are of use to you. Last but not the least, smile. smile.gif

Good luck to you! May you have a bright career future!

Hei everyone,

So i went to the interview with petrofac yesterday, and I would like to share some info with u guys, might be useful for those who will be going for the interview.

1. This intake is the 1st intake. Those who get selected will be the 1st batch of the program under Petrofac Malaysia.
2. No IQ test, No presentation, just a formal 20 minutes interview. They asked only simple and basic question on what u studies in college.
3. 5 years bonding.
4. The result will be made available in the 1st week of september
5. Program start at mid October
6. 2 year training program, 100% technical.
7. The have a lot of cute/gorgeous girls working at the office. Good environment I would say!

I forgot to ask how many position are made available for the program tho. Anyone can share info?

In my opinion, as long as they have/provide you a proper training program that convinced you to have a good career development/progression in 5 years time, it will be worth it.

I'm sure a Big and well known company like this will invest a lot of money in the technical and management courses which is good for your future development.

But since this is a new program in Malaysia, anything can happens....

If the benefits and remuneration worth the 5 years bond then go for it.

Petrofac is a good company to work with. Good luck TS!

agreed, be careful with bond status. but if you don't have any job just take it so that after 5 yrs you will go out at least with 5yrs experience in Oil&Gas. rclxms.gif
