I did have some health issues a year ago, and ever since then, I have been thinking a lot about my health, and anything that can affect it. So even the smallest things can make me feel worried. Even now I'm worrying about few things regarding health. And it so happens that the things that make me worried are things that I cannot control or change. Imagine how that feels?

At least if it's something u can do, like if a girl reject you, just don't care about it. But this involves HEALTH, LIFE. It's not easy to just say, oh, it's ok. Nothing would happen. Because it can happen.

Maybe it's because I'm the kind of person that only think alot about myself? So u can say, oh, don't care so much about  what happen to urself, get a girlfriend, then u won't bother so much about ur health anymore. Well that's not easy because my motivation in life comes from within myself.

Give you a like.....Now I always indirectly think about what would happen on my body and my mentality after a gastric suffer. I need to get myself a break, hanging around watching movie and etc. It is really not easy since you get overwhelmed by your mind and cant be able to master it properly. There is a devil and you must eliminate it slowly and peacefully........Hopefully I can overcome this.

Since you mention she has feelings of paranoia; and if its consistent, you might want to ask her to consult a psychologist to rule out schizophrenia since that is just ONE of the many symptoms of schizophrenia, I am not suggesting she does have but if some how you are aware of the DSM IV for schizo then it'll be more worth looking into.

I notice there's a lot of people commenting about how to deal with depression and all that, I would like to add on that if anybody reading this feels like they are unable to cope with their issues or mental issues, please seek professional help. Because not everybody is capable of reading a book and fixing yourself, and not all of these books are written by credible mental health professionals, some are just self-help books written by lay people who have no in-depth knowledge on psychology. There's a lot more than just thinking positive and keeping yourself busy because there are something very fundamental that needs to be addressed, such as how you process information, how your perception works on your surroundings, what are you lacking in your life that causes these thoughts to occur and many many more.

You can try referring to the link below:

It is by all means not completely updated, but its a good place to start. Anybody who feels that they need to talk to someone in the mental health field please PM me and I will direct you to the right person.
