Since I don't do overclocking, air cooling is sufficient already for me.
Just wanted a quiet PC when I am not playing game.

A comparison of casings I have. From left to right Silverstone Raven RVZ1, Silverstone SG03 Aluminium, NCase M1, Johnsbo V3+.

Do give a short review of the sx600 when u got it.
I am worried on the coil hum.
*
I got mine from hikari on sunday. Got very low scraping sound like the fan scraping the grill. Also got chirping sound when the fan is about to start. Only when i put my ears close to the intake. No coil hum heard so far. The fan is absurdly cheap-ass for such an expensive PSU.

Add 1 more, the fan doesnt stop when started after 15mins, that means the internal temperature probably already exceeded 45c. Not really semi-fanless, just delayed the fan start only tongue.gif. Eventually the fan has to start due to the internal temp exceed 45c.

Oh wait, hikari is selling the SX600? Don't see it mentioned on the WTS page...

Do you have a pic of the cable set that comes with the PSU? I might pick one up if the slim cable set suits the routing path in the case better than going with sleeved cables.

Many thanks for your feedback.

Looks like hot Malaysia weather will cause the fan to always turn on.
I will start planning for a fanless ATX power supply for a quiet PC.
