I was toying with nex-5t two days ago at one u sony centre. The sales person told me this camera can't really stand colder than 5celcius. So if we're gonna use it for snow shooting we gotta keep it inside our winter jacket, shoot, n keep it back to our jacket. Can anyone share such experience? I'm asking this coz I'm going to Hokkaido next Jan, it'll be easily -5c n below even at day time. Thanks for your input.

I c. Thanks for your advices guys. The sales guy said the sensor will spoil if I expose the camera to extreme cold. rclxub.gif

In my heart I think WTH sony is designed in japan rite? How can they come out with such device that can't stand cold? These sales ppl should get more training la... whistling.gif

Hi guys, I just bought a nex 5t yesterday. Charged it with the USB cable straight to camera as the package doesn't come with battery charger. It took around 5hours to full charge an empty battery. Is it normal? Do u all buy extra battery charger? Coz when I travel it'll be very hard to charge two battery with this method while still have other gears to charge at the same time

Btw how long it takes to fully charge a flat battery if we use the Bc-vw1 battery charger?

Hi guys i'm considering a prime lens for my nex-5t. Mainly for landscape and potrait shots.

which one you guys think will suit my requirement? sel35f18 or sel50f18?

My recent Kyoto trip shots. With Nex-5t n sel1650 without filter. Please feel free to C&C.

I'm wondering i need to invest on prime lens or just add a UV filter to the kit lens. A lot of time during afternoon when sunlight is too bright it's hard to shoot.

I was at Kyoto n Osaka recently. It took around 4 hours to fully charge my nex-5t battery. I haven't count how fast it can charge in Malaysia yet.

Hi guys, I'm seeking for some opinions. I'm using sel1650 n sel35f18 with my nex5t now. I love the IQ of sel35f18 but it's not wide enough for landscape shooting. Is it worth to invest on sel16f28? Someone mentioned b4 the IQ of sel16f28 is not better than kitlens sel1650. I'm still considering. Thanks for your input.
