but for A7S... i think kit lens is definitely a no-no... u need to have a good lens to really enjoy A7S... yay or nay?

Wah,Someone hardsell veli hard on A6000+1670z.The bestest combo worr. Then ah...F4 will still be F4 lorr. For the same amount of money you can buy 20,35,50 at much larger aperture. While optically they are inferior but I can get more bokeh worr! There always a compromise in photography when comes to gear.   

What works for you need not apply to everyone. There's enough room to cater for different taste and photo genres. A6000 will not be the best 6 months down the road when OMD,Fuji,whatever la announce their next model. Or Sony announces their curved sensor then another can of worm.

A7 series is quite a specialty camera that does not have all the bells and whistle. You need to work with its limitation and not the other way round. Just like Fuji 100s/Xpro1 or better yet Leica. They are not user friendly to say the least, but it has character of it's own. If you want economical lens choice, so man up and learn manual focusing. If you want the best lens combo, you can slap a Leica noctilux on it,if you want! There's no denying it's the cheapest entry to full frame.

You should consider Leica and Phase One lorr.

Yes, the 12MP A7s is surprisingly good not only for videography!! i tried it during the exclusive preview and the low light performance is insane!!
the quieter shutter is great, and the silence digital shutter even greater for stealth street shooting. 
a lot of pro are considering it, including ppl who are using 5DM2/3, D800, etc.
The price is not very cheap but it is value for money for ppl who know what they can use a7s to shoot!!

Saying that apsc is for learning and ff is the future upgade isnt that true too. Apsc cameras should be treated as the same as ff or any camera else, not like something you MUST use and dump then upgrade in the future. FF isnt as superior as a lot of you think, i used 5d mark iii and 6d before (not sony but ff anyways), its impressive compared to my apsc 550D, but is the extra 3k-6k worth it? Nah, unless i am doing photography professionally and i MUST have the clean high iso and better dof.

You know, if you ask me this question years back, I'd get the A7 combo without a second thought.

But hor, nowadays I prefer a lighter camera, the A7 is still much heavier than the A6000 combined with that lens. Every time before I want to bring the A7 out, I need to think twice because of the weight
