if no LTE coverage sure no problem liao? Let say staying in Morib, Kerteh, Raub, Jitra or Mersing, sure 1-2 years still no LTE coverage. So worth it or not to get US set?

How about warranty? Any issues with the first batch of the past US set Nexus 4? Like iPhone 4 got antennagate, iPhone 5s got BSOD; similar to that.

if not using LTE but 3G only, using US N5 is OK?

My opinion is that if you were to buy US set it will not be as future proof as you purchasing LG set in Malaysia. At least you have LTE functionality, which might become the norm in the near future. (Unless you changes your phone often)

Warranty will be a hassle too, as you need to ship back. If I am not mistaken even for Nexus 4, LG do not accept N4 purchased from Google play, hence the extra charges. If you want warranty, need to ship it back to US.

Issues, i am not too sure.

I would rather wait till it reaches Malaysia, safe my time/effort/less hassle despite having to pay a slightly higher price.

3g will work as well
But prepare for much lower resale value as LTE coverage increases over next 1 to 2 years

We malaysia delayed to January when we get nexus4. Supposing LG does the same thing, we will get it by Jan.

We were lucky actually considered many countries were totally out of stock that time.

Nexus 4 8GB when released in MY was how much? I was initially planning to get this phone direct from US since I have family members staying in US. The currency of US>RM is bouncing up and down and going ard the RM1x8x - RM11xx for the 16GB version.

There weren't any 8GB launcher in malaysia. LG Malaysia brought in ONLY 16GB version.

Now I remembered my friend bought from Ipmart. They were the ones who were brought in the 8GB model. Cant rmb the price back then. Hopefully they will do the same with a similar price tag to Google.
