Sweet, nexus 5 is gonna release on October 31, and my birthday is on October 30

i can live with 8mp non OIS camera, gives me a reason to keep my e-pm2

as for nexus 5, i'm thinking it'll be an 8mp non OIS camera, since
1. have to be lower spec than g2, hence 8mp
2. have to be cheaper, hence no OIS
3. only 8mp OIS that i know of is nokia 920/925, doubt those camera modules will come in this phone...

Don't really agree that just because its a nexus it has to be cheaper though. G.Nexus was the first phone with 720p and I remember that time it was going for around 2k 

damn poison. estimated price how much when rich m'sia? last time if not mistaken n4 around 1600-1700 for US set.

am quite surprised that nexus 5 might be introducing something new regarding the camera, did they heard the numerous murmurs about their camera quality?

However, we find it unlikely that the Nexus 5 would feature a MEMS camera from DigitalOptics, for several reasons:

- The log file only contains a reference to “IMX179”, which is the Sony-made sensor equipping some versions of DigitalOptics’ mems|cam camera modules. But other camera module makers may use the same Sony sensor. In fact, the recently launched Meizu MX3 is equipped with an IMX179 sensor, but we couldn’t find any reference to it featuring a DigitalOptics MEMS camera.

- According to a DigitalOptics press release from August, production of the mems|cam will ramp in Q4 2013, with “high volume capacity” to be added in 2014. The Nexus 5 is expected to launch this month.

- MEMS cameras are relatively expensive – the price is $25 per module for a batch of 10,000 units. For comparison, the Note 3’s 13MP camera is estimated to cost about $15. While that may not seem like much, keeping the cost of the Nexus 5 in check is probably a big concern for Google.

We can’t rule out this report as 100 percent incorrect, but for now, we think it’s just a case of wishful thinking.

From what I've read, the log file detects USB OTG for N5.
If this for real, then no people with large collection such as music or videos are good to go 

why is most of the leaks referring it to key lime pie? isn't it supposed to be kitkat now?
