Very unfortunate for us streamyx users, youtube app not included and no other way to install it

Just activated my hypptv yesterday.. i watch youtube using browser, connected my mouse n keyboard...

anyone can tell me how to install android apps? i want to install viki or dramafever to watch korean dramas

We are getting 'locked' system which we won't be able to install anything on our own.

what do you mean "locked" system ? TM will know we install own app ??

To make it clear, our STB is not able to install any additional .apk files which other android usually does. Else, there should be a standard application management to install and uninstall and TM customized by removing it. That was what I meant by 'locked'. Yes, to my knowledge someone did PM me that he managed to hacked into the STB and installed youtube and some games successfully, but he risked it and his STB unable to boot for 3 days.

Just want to confirm this with current user of Sports channel. Are you able to watch all the EPL match tat is showing live on Astro on your HyppTV...i am thinking of cancelling my Astro n opt for this is i can watch all the match on HyppTV coz my Astro primary only for me to watch EPL ( wat a waste of $$ )

I am a subscriber of HyppTV sports channel. The two channels from Astro are only Astro Supersport1 and Supersport2. However, there are some matches which are not on those channel, so you cannot watch some. Nevertheless, there are many football channels for this package, all in HD! and you can even watch some of the matches at your leisure on VOD!

No you won't, if you really want to watch all live EPL matches better stick with Astro. EPL in hypptv only limited to what we can watch in ASSP1 and ASSP2.

Asking if you guys having abnormal hypptv (for streamyx) behavior this morning, only few channels viewable and the rest gone black which yesterday evening was normal. None of my subscribed packs watchable. Tried 100 and guess what, they expect technical issues to be treated and solved it on normal working days from monday to friday

at least got second choice not like before only astro.

I subcribe for mega pack which include hypp gold from their VOD and guess what, there are no subtitles include whatsoever even for korean n japanese movies..what a waste...

Now I just realised that TM just shifted the CBS channel to Mega, previously it listed under Platinum as well. Now no more.

Anyone know if we can change the dns for Hypptv STB (streamyx). I would love to watch hulu via hypptv stb.

I am using static IP and google dns for my STB, no other intention just I am used to it but how are you going to watch hulu by just changing the dns. As far I know watching it via VPN than it can do.

btw, still waiting the hacking for me to install XBMC apk into it

I am thinking about the same too but TM moved some good channels to Mega such as CBS Entertainment and Outdoor channel and I believed others selected channels will follow. Another attempt by TM to force lower pack subscribers to upgrade theirs

Just change DNS already do the trick. Instead of using google dns, you can change to tunlr dns then you can access netflix, hulu, pandora, spike, crackle and much more. I am using dns jumper to easily change between dns. Speed is like direct access without vpn.

Just use you maybank or other debit card to subscribe and put the us zip code in the zip code box. But don't forget to cancel your subscription in 2 weeks or they'll charge you for the monthly subscription.
