Ya, get the new set of equipments.. The latest TP-Link router performs significantly better than the older D-Link router (orange and white). In fact, it works so well that I no longer need to purchase the Asus router I was eyeing. Knocks on wood.

I've got similar equipment and experience the same.. I believe others have reported similar experiences too.. So it's more likely a TM issue.

Can view VOD content using the Hypptv app running on the STB.. AFAIK, can't be downloaded and watched offline.. I stand corrected.

Hypptv Everywhere login is different from that of the Hypptv app on the stock STB.. So that response is expected.. You have to call TM to get the login details or request for a technician to come over and setup.

Free for Hypptv package subscribers.. Up to 2 devices..

It's VOD... I believe one must be a Jumbo pack subscriber (I'm not a subscriber and so can't test for certain) and install the BBC Player app. Not BBC iPlayer.

Try checking on apkmirror site.. To download the apk.. Then use a file explorer to install.

Can! I'm assuming that it's the latest TM supplied STB right? Head over to the dedicated thread, as it contains detailed info on how to restore it to its former glory.. Hurry before the method is patched..

As the name suggests Hypptv Everywhere is for "everywhere" other than the official STB...Think phones, tablets, laptops, Desktops, etc.. The one on the STB is far superior and offers better performance and AFAIK, has not been successfully replicated on an unofficial device.

We all wish we could and some actually have.. Those with simpler needs are able to make full use of the official STB for both it's Hypptv and other media playback capabilities.. So for them.. Win - Win!.. To us who'd prefer to use a different device, have to separate. IMO, it's not an issue as both devices have their places in the same cabinet.. one used more than the other. biggrin.gif
