not wanting to burst the bubble but it seems that the inside doesn't have a rubber or something pad against the body of the phone, which could scratch the phone upon insertion / locking the device in (like metal cases for note 2 which do not have the rubber pads will scratch the bezel)

True. You do have a point. Main reason why I never consider metal type casing or bumpers

Exactly, metal cases will badly scratch it due to it is hard & sharp.

Engadget 19Aug review titled : Sony Xperia Z Ultra review: the best phone you'll probably never buy WRAPUP : Just like we saw with the Samsung Galaxy Mega, your decision to purchase the Xperia Z Ultra depends mostly on its size. The Z Ultra doesn't offer any unique traits that would make people want to deal with its massive frame if they don't want to, and the price is going to scare off shoppers who are on the fence. For those dead-set on a larger smartphone, however, this is definitely the best 6-plus-inch device you can buy. Sony designed a sleek and good-looking handset with a few tablet tendencies, and you'll absolutely love the display and over-the-top processing power contained within its chassis. Without a doubt, its size and price are the two most critical factors, and you've probably already made up your mind without even using it. In short, your decision to buy (or not buy) the Z Ultra should be a quick one: you'll either love it or hate it, but you won't stay neutral for long.
I will confirm if there is any form of protection inside of the bumper.
Then I shall post it here.
please do confirm which has room for the dock/magnetic charger which doesn't. cause some images of the bumper do show there's a room for dock/magnetic charger. some just cover that part
Also can check if the bumper will interfere with reception and gps signal.
Thanks...
Guys,
Just confirmed that there is a sponge padding inside the Case so your phone will not be scratched.
Those who wants to order the bumper case, can do so now. I will update my accessories thread in awhile. The RM56 price applies to group buy of 8 people ya
There will not be any issue with gps signal and network reception as the bumper covers the edge of the phone

Can confirm if we can use the charging dock without removing this bumper?
The bumper looks nice.. But highlighting the side frames makes it look even bigger.. I think I will use this naked all the way.. Or a transparent case, and back sp... If I put the flip case that come along with the phone, I hardly fit my XZU into my pocket.. My pocket can't afford slight add to the size
