In fact i realize almost 99% of the games are supported~

Only Real Racing 3 keep crash and may be fixed in future updates.

I'm now trying the Smart Endurance in Settings and see if it helps.
Finally my K900 able to shutdown by itself with the Lenovo animation (same one during startup, only in reverse animation) at 3%. Looks like battery recalibration and Smart Endurance works. Let me monitor too see if this is a 1 time occurrence or a permanent thing.

Hi everyone,

I don't own a K900 yet but planning to, maybe next week. I'm just an old man trying very hard to keep pace with the new tech. Some questions, hopefully someone could put in simple terms so that this old man can understand,.... hehehe:

1) The latest stock K900 does it already have Google Play installed?

2) After unboxing, what do I need to do ( I meant upgrades) to make the apps smooth/stable like the one you guys have? Please list step by step, as I don't want to skip important upgrades that's needed...(after that I can manage myself to page 1 to do it by myself)

3) Maybe later, after I've got the phone and everything sought out...hehehe

Currently I'm on Nokia Lumia WP8, not bad but the K900 looks so elegant and tempting. I'm so bored with Samsung Galaxy this and that, every latest model looks the same to me.... and everyone in my family circle seems to be wanting a Samsung, geeshh!!! Hopefully the K900 doesn't disappoint me.

Hoping for some answers guys, thanks for the informative thread, kudos to the administrator....

-if u hate the stock UI,then change to third party launcher like nova etc.other than that there's almost no need to upgrade unless youre into custom rom.

3) Maybe later, after I've got the phone and everything sought out...hehehe

1. yes, mine just bought last week and it has Google Play.
2. for me, i uninstalled and disabled the app that i really dont use in order save my ram from hogging up.

this is the list of app that i disabled (do it at your own risk if you wanna try this)
a. Backup&Restore
b. Google Play Music
c. Google Plus
d. Lenovo Facebook
e. News & Weather
f. Talk (after update from Google Play, it become Hangout)
g. Weather Animation.

For launcher, use Nova Launcher or other lightweight launcher app for a smooth scrolling.

hi there, welcome to the thread

battery life -> awesome if compared to most android phones like S3, S4, Htc One, and slightly better than Note 2
not sure if compared to tablet..

me.. i dont personally own one (otw dy, haha waiting for moneyyyyyy) yet but i can tell u its has better battery life than my Xperia Pro (single core 1500mAH).. my phone can only last up to 4 -5 hours heavy data usage/wifi etc etc, around 2 - 3 hours of movie watching.. this lenovo, in 4 -5 hours of browsing, u still can get like 40 - 50% battery life. (not sure how accurate but based on my experience la), for vid play back etc etc i have not tried, that u have to ask other members haha icon_rolleyes.gif
i am personally in middle of dilemma whether to just purchase this phone when my pay comes in or wait Asus Google Nexus 7, the new one whistling.gif

if ur willing to sacrifice camera quality and having a pretty thick and heavy phone with SUPER DUPER battery life. then p780 is the phone, but then its better u study more about the phone before buying, cuz the last model P770 faced alot of problems. u can refer to this thread

Lenovo S890 & P770 dual core

hope i am of help to u notworthy.gif

Hey guys,

thanks for the feedback. I appreciate it very very much. Since my phone usage would be basically internet browsing and social media, I don't think it would be much of a problem. I don't do heavy gaming anymore, not on a phone anyway.... too intense for my age...hahaha.

I'll get back to you guys when I've made the purchase. Thanks again everyone.
