I still do not think dragging SS EO past 5k is good idea n practice shakehead.gif

my dad sentra always 10k oni change engine oil...use the same engine oil as me,260k mileage and still counting...

depends on your original manufacturer (in this case proton) and the EO quality.

most SS base stocks can EASILY deal with 10-20k km; It's additive package however couldn't. (and the carbon build up especially when it comes to older engines, 4g15/campro are pretty damn old lol)
so when it comes to just lubricating your engine, just 5k km won't kill your engine, even if it does it'll be a matter after 100-200k km/5-10 years.
but of course, if you have lead foot and tend to drive like a rabid dog, of course it'll be sluggish as f*** and it's still best to go with 5k km for majority of SS EO.

it's kinda how certain folks use motul 300v and OCI at 5k km (neh that damn awesome evo X driver forumer)
