few i would recommend


1) map, with view range, and last spotted.

3) cursor with spotting range percentage
4) damage indicator - bigger and longer so you could keep track enemy shotting from where
5) arcade mode zoom - playing as scout would find this usefull

(Plus, they're ugly as heck. They're called clownskins for a reason.)

To be honest, you can do without mods. I played nearly 10k battles and still haven't used a single apart from XVM briefly.

I only just started memorising them about 1 month back, didn't even bother to find out about my td's camo value till about the same time back. LOL, I'm as casual as they come.

As shinkawa noted, the weakspots remain mostly the same for most tanks. Cupolas, MG ports, lower glacis.

Only special ones you probably should remember is the IS-series tanks, due to some of their extreme slopes which is tricky to penetrate if you don't know where to shoot. (Eg, there's actually a thin strip of vertical armour on the IS-3 sides that is much easier to penetrate compared to the rest. Aim too high and you might bounce, and aim too low and you hit the tracks for no damage.)

I can't comment on such since I never used it before. If anything, I'm avoiding such. Looks like I'm shooting bunches of dance floors if you ask me.

Apart from the female crew and voice mod, nope. Only these. But as of now, I am running the tank without any mod since my laptop hasn't been cleaned for aeons now, lazy. It does significantly lower my fps LOL with the mods with my current laptop state.

for IS series, i aim at center but not at the nose point.

All tank have same weakspot.....like fight IS7 , when u can't find the spot then just shot turret ring.

Not easy , if closed range combat then shoot turret ring wil be easy.

It can be frustrating at times, but think positively.. I consider it as a challenge and test of one's skills and adaptability on the battlefield and if they are cooperating well, ask assistance from them to flank or attack from another direction.
After all, teamwork with the best overall strategy is the key to success.

It was 4 vs 4 near the end, but the other 2 kept on the other side of the lake doing nothing while the opposing team was busy capping the flag.
I did the best I could...

I'm curious as to why my (M) has a yellow ribbon and I never had any medals on my crew like yours and some other screenshots posted....

that is the mastery badge, it mean you have the highest exp on that that week

but it reset weekly

those medal are skills your crews get after they train to 100%

more battle = more crew skills

Well, all of my crews are straight from Training Academy or been through Regimental School. I suppose that explains why my tank crew does not have any medals (on the left of the crew portrait in the garage) since none started from 50% level to 100% from the start.
The wiki never touched on this subject.

Not many compared to some players here.
Only achieved Mastery Badge: "Ace Tanker" 50% of the tanks in my garage. Not "Experten" level yet. Have a long long way to go to reach the top.
Still learning new things including map strategy, tactics and game mechanics every day...

Still left two more Tier I tanks to get Mastery Badge: "Ace Tanker".
