me using a epos 12.2. if you are in penang u are most welcome to audition it. IMHO i find that epos 12.2 can be a bit too brigh at times.

I do agree about the extra bit of brightness that follows the detail of the 12.2. I also find it very airy. However, the ATCs (if driven properly) are more musical and neutral to my taste. There are always many who would prefer the hyper-detail and lively sound of the M12.2.

Similarly, Quad 12L is not so bright but musical & quite a 'leng lui'

How to differentiate Uk made and China made 602?

Normally when they dont mark made in UK, then u know lah.

May i know how B&W perform in jazz,vocal,classical and instrument?

It performs well for jazz and vocal but for classical pieces, some felt that they're not neutral enough. Besides this, B&W speakers are also generally famous to be used in a HT setup too whereby they can be driven hard without fear of damaging its voice coil.

I own a pair of DM600S3. I have done comparisons with my current speakers. However, my amp can only play one pair of speakers and switching the speaker cables is troublesome. So, I am thinking of selling it off.

If it is UK mari, then I guess it would be more expensive by now. I have checked with a reputable fellow forummer here some time ago. If current market, my guess is it is above RM1.8K since B&W 6 series mostly from China now.

So far I match B&W with ZERO dac and its quite musical. Mine is DM 602S3, come with ~8" driver. It can deliver deep low bass with good extension. I believe for jazz with fast dynamic and clarity, it is good. Since ZERO dac give me a wide soudstage, I find it quite all rounded. It still has warranty. Yup.. Currently, there are Made in China versions. Mine is Made in England.
