Thank you for your kind suggestion. We are very concerned about the rules and regulations of the forum and would like to be extremely cautious before labelling our products with price tags as this will definitely violate the "Brands thread created by goldfries" in the Hardware category.

Will definitely look into that and keep the thread to be updated as often as possible!

That aside, do we have any proud owners for BenQ monitors here? Can't wait to hear more

Hi Duckies,

Thanks for your enquiry. The GW2450HM is currently out of stock. If you're in urgent need for a monitor, may I suggest the GL2450HM monitor.

Our reseller in Penang is MCL and I have PM'ed you their contact. You can check with them for the GL monitor.

As for the warranty, our monitors comes with 3 years standard warranty (from purchase date) with 1 year panel warranty.

Hope that helps! If you're still keen on the GW, I'll give you a buzz once we have it back in stock.

Cheerio!

Hey AaronFPS, if you're in Klang Valley, you may get the XL2420T from All IT or even Viewnet in Lowyat Plaza. We've just restocked them recently and you should be able to grab one from them this weekend.

If you stay elsewhere, let us know where you live and we'll put you in contact with a reseller. wink.gif

Still using an ancient BenQ FP222W true 22" monitor. And working fine till today. It cost me 800 buckeroos back then (and by todays' standards for that amount I could get a 24" or 27" IPS monitor). tongue.gif

why not bring up more VA panel monitor. TN panel is inferior compared to IPS/VA/PLS panel in term of contrast ratio, viewing angle and color accuracy. Common people dont care about monitor with 120/144hz refresh ratio mostly, only few so-called gamers(some misinformed) cared.

should offered up VW2430H and GW2450HM or other affordable va panel monitor when dell, lg, viewsonic, aoc push alot monitor with IPS panel to their consumer line. too bad VA panel not widely known compared to IPS panel (thanks to apple), even when majority lcd tv using VA panel

anyway, are GW2760HS been demo on any shop in lowyat? if the color production is really good, i would love to buy, too bad pixel will look bigger compared to 23/24inch model (anyway 1440p monitor are more expensive by the way)

Hi zerorating,

I would have to say each panel has their roles to play in the world of monitors. TN panel has a response time that goes as fast as 1ms and no, the advantages of having a faster response time when it comes to gaming is immense. It may happen that some people would take that as a marketing gimmick but anyone who has really utilize on it will not agree with that.

As for VA panel, we do carry a few models such as GW2255 and VW2230H but unfortunately 24" models are currently out of stock and they will be available very soon.

Lastly, feel free to visit Viewnet and All IT for GW2760HS as they do carry this particular model. It is not known to us yet whether or not they have a demo unit as vendors do often switch around with their demo units depending on the stock availability.

Thanks smile.gif

Hello there,

2 units of DLP Link 3D Glasses should have been included with the BenQ W1080ST Full HD 3D Short Throw home theatre projector. The 3D glasses are bundled together with the W1080ST projector as standard. Do let us know if your projector was not packaged with the 3D glasses.

However, if you are inclined to purchase extra units of the BenQ 3D glasses, here's the contact details of our reseller in KL.

Hello, Good Afternoon!

Definitely. Major tournaments around the world use BenQ's monitors for a reason - near-lagless display, fast response time and color optimization. For example, the RL2450H is one of the fastest 24' monitors in the market. Feedback from professional fighting game players claimed that it's perfect for their games (fighting games are one of the most demanding games, in terms of input lag)

Meanwhile, you can check this review out: http://www.displaylag.com/benq-rl2455hm-pr...monitor-review/

Hello, Good Afternoon!

For the GW2460HM is not yet available in Malaysia but GL2460HM is available, the difference between them being the GL2460HM is using TN panel instead of VA panel. EW2440L will be available in Malaysia by the end of October.

Hello,

Judging from the images above, it is most likely caused by external impact and hence panel leakage. The warranty that covers the panel for this model is already over.

We would advise you to get a new replacement as it is not economically advisable to send it for repair.

Thanks!

Hi ReserveDark,

Thanks for that good question. Please allow me to quote from PCMonitors for this question. Also, please be noted that both versions have now been upgraded with the Flicker free and 144hz frame rate.

QUOTE
That’s a good question actually and it isn’t something that BenQ makes clear. We have reviewed both the 20T and 11T which allowed us to get a feel for the differences between both the models. This thread will be a great place to draw together the differences.

There are some aesthetic differences which I think can be seen easily enough from pictures and probably don’t need to be described. Some poeple prefer the red accents of the 20T whereas others prefer the simple style and slightly thinner bezels of the 11T.

There are some differences in functionality in that only the XL2420T has the ‘S-Switch’ which makes using the OSD or switching between 3 different ‘custom’ presets very easy. It also has touch sensitive buttons which work quite nicely and are arranged a bit more logically than the pressable buttons on the 11T. Once you’ve set everything up though you don’t necessarily need to worry about the OSD too much.

The XL2420T has a broader selection of ports than the XL2411T. It features a DisplayPort input alongside DVI, VGA, 2 HDMI ports and 3 USB 2.0 ports. The XL2411T on the other hand features a single HDMI port, DVI and VGA. For most users they will just want to connect a PC using DVI and that will handle the monitor very well and isn’t a problem. Some users may find the additional ports helpful, particularly the DisplayPort if they are planning to use an unusual GPU (or gaming laptop perhaps) without DVI.

When it comes to the actual image performance the monitors are quite similar. The 11T seems to have been tweaked a bit, at least compared to the revision of the 20T we reviewed, but is essentially quite comparable when running the same settings. It seemed to give some slightly richer colours when running under ‘Standard mode’ and selecting ‘Gamma 4′ without crushing shades or making colours far too deep as the 20T did.

The monitors are both very responsive but the 11T has a bit of an edge in that department. It actually runs at 144Hz natively, giving a slight edge in fluidity. It also offers ‘High’ and ‘Premium’ AMA (Advanced Motion Acceleration) modes rather than just ‘On’. The ‘High’ setting offers a more comfortable balance than the overly aggressive acceleration on the 20T and less conspicuous overdrive artifacts are produced as a result. Most users don’t seem to mind about these on the 20T anyway, but some do.

Those are really the key differences between the two monitors. It is really the S-Switch, extra ports and touch sensitive controls that add a bit of cost to the 20T (or at least are selling points that would allow BenQ to charge a premium). The 11T is newer though and has been tweaked a bit, particularly with its more flexible grey to grey acceleration options.

Hope this helps.

Hi ,

The BenQ XL 2420TE is labeled as XL 2420T in Malaysia. The current batch of XL 2420T is an upgrade of the previous batch with 144Hz refresh rate now.

To make sure you are getting the upgraded version, following are the simple details you should be paying attention to :-

i. Manufacturing Date - The manufacturing date of 144Hz XL 2420T will be no earlier than July 2013.

ii. Retailers - All the BenQ products that are available in Lowyat Plaza are the upgraded versions. IF you want to be safe, please recheck the manufacturing date.

Mr BenQ, is the GW2255 available with the newer flicker-free DC backlight control? Apparently new production based on these part numbers are updated - 9H.LA2LA.DPE / 9H.LA2LB.DPE / 9H.LA2LA.DPU

Hi Mr BQ, I am planning to go to lowyat plaza this Saturday to build my gaming rig and I'm looking to purchase the GL2450M from viewnet. Are there still stock available for that particular model?

Hi St. Orion,

Currently we only have the upgraded version of GL2450M - GL 2460 left in the market. You may want to consider this.

Hi ADJ,

Apology for the slow reply. We have just confirmed that the current GW2255 in the market are still yet to be upgraded with the latest flicker free technology. You may have to wait till the current stock is phased out or seek for alternative Flicker free options such as the GW2760 or the XL gaming series monitors.

Thank you !

These two models are almost identical in terms of specs, I would say it is the flicker free feature that differentiates the price tag. You may also consider about the difference in terms of design and select the one that would attract you best wink.gif

Thanks. Too bad the VW2245Z does not have integrated power adapter and VESA mount, if not it would be good to get cos of the flicker free.
Any recommended dealer that would have the VW2245Z to view?

Mr BenQ, i wanna ask about the audio jack input for VW2230H.
From what i see the spec of VW2230H, it doesn't have the speaker feature, may i know what is the function of audio jack on VW2230H, if the monitor doesn't come with speaker.

Also, i want to ask what type of menu control VW2230H using, Touch sensor or button pressing?
I Kinda have bad experience for the monitor that using touch sensor control, which the sensor malfunction after few years later.

Updated:

Also, i went to lowyat last week 11/30, however i can't find any VW2230H model in-stock in any major shop in lowyat, all out-of-stock......
May i know when will be this model stock arrive? shocking.gif

Hi Alan! We regret to inform you that this model won't be available in Malaysia for the time being sad.gif Sorry for the inconvenience caused.

However we would highly recommend the RL and XL Gaming Series monitors for casual/gaming use. For work/office, the eye-care series of monitors are really comfortable for long period usage.

Dear Mr BenQ,

Can you clarify on this? Are BenQ only provide 1 year warranty for panel in BenQ monitor. This period seems too short compared to other brand and panel is the most expensive part in a monitor
http://benq.com.my/support/information/warranty/#

Are this apply for every model (including the expensive gaming series)?

Hi zerorating,

Yes that's right. We only provide 1 year warranty (from the date of purchase) for all the panels in our monitor series.

For mainstream brands, the only ones selling good quality 120hz+, low input lag gaming monitors is Benq and Asus.

So yeah, many people are still using them.

Ezio is hardly mainstream, and the overclockable Korean ips monitors do not have 100% chance 120hz and do not have the low input lag of Benq or Asus lol.

The G-Sync gaming monitor will only be available in second half of 2014. The one we saw in CES are prototypes of the models.

For photo editing usage, we would like to recommend you the eye-care series of GW 2760HS or the EW 2440 L . These models are best suited for professionals who spend long hours with the PC. Colour accuracy wise personally I would prefer the GW 2760 better.

Would it be possible for you to let us know your budget?

do you mean lightbleeding on the left and right side of the screen that that produced bright line that can be see when viewing really dark colour background images(e.g dark grey), those are normal for edge-lit led backlit lcd screen, since ew2440l are having slim bezel, the led module was put really near with the lcd pixels,so the bright line is obvious on the side of the panel when viewing dark colours images, i wondered why AUO didnt use direct LED backlit (not local dimming) instead, maybe to save costs, power consumption of the led panel or just to reduce the panel size. Anyway, it didn't affecting me much unless you are working with dark static images all the time.

are your monitor color bleeding affect bright colours images, if yes, i guess you can be entitled for warranty claim.

finally decided to get BenQ VW2245Z over the weekend at Viewnet to replace my nearly 10 years old Viewsonic 17" VA LCD.

since on tight budget, it was either this, or the GW2255 or crappy TN panels. IPS panels were above budget, and VA was good enough for me.

GW2255 had support for VESA mounts, but it wasn't relevant to me, whereas the VW2245Z was flicker-free, which sounded as a better trade-off. After setting it up on my desk, the height was just right.

anyway, okay with the purchase, but just need to calibrate it well...

Hey AlanSiew,

Our apologies for not meeting up to your expectations sad.gif Concerning the lack of some specific models that we do not carry right now, there's quite some factors that we have to consider (especially consumer demand) before bringing in any products. That being said, we will try our best to continue bringing in more choices to the satisfaction of our customers.

Thanks for voicing out!

That would be depending on the manufacture date labeled on the box as well. To be safe, it is advisable that you purchase the said model from either ALL IT hypermarket or Viewnet from Lowyat Plaza. Do let us know should you need any further information!

Not anytime soon. However, XL 2420Z and XL 2720Z will soon be available in Malaysia featuring the Motion Blur Reduction technology which in a way is quite similar to the G sync technology. We will keep you posted with that availability smile.gif

Hi lucidlts! Thanks for the great review, personally I enjoyed it a lot. We appreciate it very much when users take their time to review a product for other interested people to read, whether it's good or bad.

We will share it on our Facebook page for more people to have a read smile.gif

A detailed, hands-on review of our hero model the EW2440L by another blogger also provides detailed explanation for those who are interested.

Part One - Taking a closer look
Part Two - For your eyes only
Part Three - Conclusion

Enjoy!

Not anytime soon. However, XL 2420Z and XL 2720Z will soon be available in Malaysia featuring the Motion Blur Reduction technology which in a way is quite similar to the G sync technology. We will keep you posted with that availability smile.gif

I just bought BenQ XL2720Z 27" monitor yesterday. It works awesome. However I tried googled about this model about built emitter for the Nvidia 3D Vision 2. It was very confusing, 1 blog said it was build-in while 2 forums in Nvidia said otherwise. Can you please clarify this to me?

Attached Image

I saw this and read the manual, it say that if the emitter was build-in into monitor, there no way to enable it manual (Ctrl+T not working), it will auto on once it detected the IR signal from the glasses. The problem is that the manual is used for many models and may not referring to my model. Can confirm this model got build in emitter?? if can please try out before answering me, coz the glasses and the kit aren't cheap, I dowan buy salah.

Now I scratch head, either to buy Nvidia 3D Vision 2 kit set or just glasses. They cost quite a lot and hard to get by.

Ada sesiapa yang tahu 'setting' terbaik untuk XL2720Z? Untuk penggunaan umum.

Terima kasih.

Just get it yesterday, tryout the preset, it seem photo mode looks good.

However I prefer custom settings on my own, may take several hours to get it right. biggrin.gif

Thanks for purchasing the awesome monitor! It is our favourite gaming monitor as well smile.gif

As for your question, the XL2720Z does not come with the IR emitter. The IR emitter is bundled within the Nvidia 3D kit itself.

Thank you for your reply, may I ask what that 3D icon on the monitor is for? I don't think I saw that in your manual.

It is to indicate if you have turned on the 3D feature. The LED shall light up if users are using the 3D feature in a proper way. Thanks!

Hi MrBenQ,
I was looking thru all the gaming monitor and came across with RL2455HM.
It attracted me with the 1ms GTG feature.

But here is my question,
I saw it selling on Amazon for USD179.
I wonder do i get taxation if i purchase it from there? Since it is much more cheaper and closer to my budget.

Pls be informed also, if you get from other country, BenQ Malaysia will not warranty this unit because BenQ Malaysia is not provide international warranty.

Hi there,
I'd like to ask if the XL2420Z series in Malaysia is running v1 firmware or it's all updated to v2 already? I'm very keen on getting this monitor but I heard there's a bug with the v1 firmware.

I will most likely purchase it from lowyat viewnet, how long does the warranty cover for this monitor?

Edit: Will benq bring in XL2430T into Malaysia anytime soon?

Hi would you recommend the RL2455HM (24") for PC gaming? I am usually using the monitor for MOBA games like dota2/LoL and sometime a bit of counter-strike Global Offensive.

Hi,

I have GL2250 monitor (bought July 2012). Lately, some of the LED starts to fail. Can see unlit areas. Is it still under warranty? If not, is it worth to repair or buy a new one?

So are your XL2420Z monitors here running the V2 firmware yet? Saw quite a few for sale in Jayacom but have no way of finding out whether or not its running the latest firmware.

Hi, please give me some advice on 27" GL2760H. As my research, some of them are saying that 27'' is too big for the resolution of 1920x1080 while some of them are saying it doesn't matter. Im using it for some gaming but not a hardcore or serious gamer, videos and movie. Im sitting approximately 1.5-2 feet from the monitor.

Hi, if you prefer resolution 1920 X 1080, 24" monitor is the best size that suit the FHD.
27" is too big and inconvenienced for gaming because u need to view full image from the screen.

And so they say it's All About That Base ............. that is correct.

Sporting the latest angular, compact base that aligns perfectly parallel to the desk surface and a monitor stand meticulously placed in golden ratio to counter balance the display, the next-generation base stand design offers a new level of stability for the steadiest gameplay – with stringent swivel and shock testing results to prove it. Additionally, the reduced width and depth further shortens the distance between the keyboard and the monitor, bringing you closer than ever to the game.

Hi, Sorry do you mean IPS panel ?, the reason why all BenQ Gaming monitor is using TN panel is because to achieved 1ms response time gray to gray.
Best for gaming usage.

Hi BenQ Model which is 22" will be only GW2255/ GW2255HM (With HDMI) respectively price at RM419 & RM439 (inclusive GST)

BenQ monitor range for 22' is kind of limited as BenQ is the most seller and king of 24" monitor.

Thanks

Hi, EW2440L with the classic egonic look is more than ok. Its one of the many favourite due to the slim border and monitor design.

The different of GL2460HM and GL2450 is that GL2460HM got HDMI where GL2450 dont have HDMI, i think HDMI is a very basic need these day for monitor.

And yes with 2ms response time, great for more motion activities usage for the monitor.

so the only difference is the hdmi and response time then? i still use DVI-D Dual Link anyway..while that response time, i think i could compensate that extra 3ms lag on GL2450 (5ms isn't it?) sweat.gif

Hi Mr BenQ I was looking for GL2450, can I buy it at digital mall pj? How much would that be?

Using HDMI will gain better picture quality over DVI? As I know GL2450 doesn't come with HDMI port.

Or is there any other good BenQ monitor 22" or 24" with budget around RM450?

Hi, For basic understanding that DVI & HDMI the different is both commute high resolution video source, but HDMI do carry Audio source as well.

Most of the PC run audio with separately straight to your earphone or multimedia speaker, so its not a must for HDMI.

With DVI you can achieve the same FHD quality or higher.

The BenQ XL2430T Gaming Monitor is one awesome monitor, I have no complaints about the design so physically the product is great.

Feature wise the BenQ XL2430T does not lack and it comes with software support too which is something that I’ve never seen in other monitor brands as well.

So is the BenQ XL2430T a good product? Yes, in fact I think it’s an excellent product. As to whether it’s worth the price would depend entirely on the user.

Hello Mr BenQ, I have a question, finally created an account here lol

Anyway, I saw in the first post that BenQ RL2460HT price is at RM 899, may I know where I can buy it? Before this I've been looking for the older model and couldnt find it for sale anywhere in Malaysia. Even the official FB page responded by saying they dont have it. I plan to use them to play fighting games.

Thanks

Hi,

Why is the xl2420G so expensive in Malaysia? It's RM2800 (that's USD737!)

What's the deal? I really wanted this monitor as it would be perfect for me with gsync + HDMI. Sigh...

Just purchased BenQ EW2440L for my PS4 last week. I can say the VA panel pretty good. Display is excellent with nice aesthetic, port and features. Totally worth an upgrade from my Dell U2311H. biggrin.gif

It's a good monitor but with PS4? biggrin.gif I hooked up my PS4 to the XL2430T.

Not used to it because I play on 40" Sharp LCD TV then go to XL2430T - the output somewhat different, still prefer TV.

I think FPS and racing games would be good.

Unfortunately RTS / MOBA wouldn't be going 21:9, don't think it'll be fair for users either. Furthermore it's not a competitive gaming monitor. It's for people who want the WIDE experience.

Hi, BenQ XL2420G is offering at this price range is due to it not just any G-sync monitor you find in market. It come with the original BenQ Gaming engine that work together with nVidia G sync engine, we name is a hybrid g sync where it give you the most of the best feature that possibly can have.

Also to enjoy your G sync feature you will need to use display port rather than just hdmi as hdmi has a limitation to support the communication signal.

EW2440L would work fine for gaming but it's not part of our gaming range.

Our gaming range would have more "gaming features" but it's a matter of whether you would like to have those features.

As for our monitors and price, the details are listed on the first post.

Hi.

im planning to change my display, but somewhat at a loss on what to get. hoping u could help me out.

for reference, im using asus nvidia gtx 750 ti
usage is for gaming and watching movies/tv series etc.

23"~25". 1080p. 16:9. VGA/HDMI. optional built in speaker. wall mount not required.
am i missing anything else? budget, not more than rm1.5k?

display will be placed 3 feet +/- directly in front of me in a well-lit room. no source of light that can cause glaring on screen.

any good recommendations for me? thanks in advance.

Our best GAMER monitor is the XL2430T, a little beyond your budget.

Then there's the RL series, less features but great stuff for under RM 1k.

Do you happen to have any preference for panel types? Our models are mostly on VA panel

As to whether it’s worth the price would depend entirely on the user.

panel types....i dont know. i want my games and movies to look really nice. dota2, mmo.
im not a competitive gamer, so all those things about response time, i might not even notice it.

i'll take a look at those models you mentioned, but any other recommendations in regard to this?

Dear Mr BenQ,

1) are there any BenQ sellers in digital mall PJ?
2) if so, do they have XL2411Z, GL2460HM, RL2455HM, EW2440L?
3) is the XL2411Z the cheapest 144Hz BenQ monitor? are there any cheaper 144Hz alternatives?
4) how big of a difference between 1ms & 2ms response time?
5) i'm looking for an all-around best bang for buck performer which is great in gaming, movie and web browsing, the GL2460HM fits so far but the reviews on the web aren't glowing so far
6) which one looks better? the RL2455HM or the EW2440L?

Hi there,

1.) you can check with ALL IT Hyper Market Digital Mall
2.) Kindly do contact them directly to check stock availability. Usually they have XL2411Z, and RL2455Hm on hand.
3.) Yes XL2411Z is the most affordable 144hz BenQ gaming monitor
4.) 1ms and 2ms you might find it hand in hand in term of response different. But hey, who don't want the best of the best to make sure at top of the game every time you game on right !
5.) You maybe right that Gl2460HM is and all rounder. BenQ has been making a major headline in gaming monitor than our day to day monitor range. You might find more info of gaming monitor compare to GL series, definitely there is more professional line than general monitor news out there.
6.) in term of look it may bound to personal preference, but from BenQ point EW2440L is elegantly design for all rounder user purpose where it look classy on your desk. Where else all BenQ gaming monitor is design perfectly for gamer choice and not just fashion, BenQ gaming monitor is incorporate will all the gamer feedback through a bunch of gaming revolution, that how it look and feel as it is today.

Hope this feedback help you in making a perfect choice to purchase a BenQ monitor.

Hi, BenQ Correct model of this series is EW2440L, i believe some of the website out there does not have the model correctly. If you read anything regarding to EW2440 most properly they are mentioning EW2440L. Yes we are selling this model in Malaysia and definitely its under warranty coverage.

Thanks

Between XL2420Z and XL2430T, which one is preferred for gaming?

As far as I can tell, the first one have low blue light (10 levels) and RTS mode & smart scaling while the 2nd one have flicker-free technology. Both have 144hz and looks identical in all other aspects..... hmm.gif

XL2430T has

1. Adjustment Scale
2. Headphone holder
3. 20 level color vibrance
4. Better Arc Switch

About the Low Blue Light and Flicker Free, the second one XL2430T has it as well. Works fine on RTS as well since they're using same game mode engine.

Right, thx. I guess if I want to go 24" size (minus Gsync), the best option from Benq would be this XL2430T right?

Any other recommendations besides XL2430T?

I am already gaming at 23" with IPS panel (Dell), just want to upgrade to 144Hz monitors from the usual 60Hz. Also wanting better GTG although I wished I can get an IPS panel with good GTG. I guess that would cost a bomb.

Color Gamut

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gamut

QUOTE
In color reproduction, including computer graphics and photography, the gamut, or color gamut /ˈɡæmət/, is a certain complete subset of colors. The most common usage refers to the subset of colors which can be accurately represented in a given circumstance, such as within a given color space or by a certain output device.

Another sense, less frequently used but not less correct, refers to the complete set of colors found within an image at a given time. In this context, digitizing a photograph, converting a digitized image to a different color space, or outputting it to a given medium using a certain output device generally alters its gamut, in the sense that some of the colors in the original are lost in the process.
Monitors like our BL series provide impressive color gamut coverage for professionals who seek accurate color representation on their screen.

Fast response time of 1ms GTG means speed without the smear for an enhanced gaming experience. Fast-moving action and dramatic transitions will be rendered smoothly without the annoying effects of smearing or ghosting. Control your gaming destiny and don't leave it in the hands of slow display.

All depends on what game you play.

It's 35" but it's not 4K resolution, just think of it as a wider Full HD.

Sweet Spot for Curved Monitors
A 2000R's sweet spot is better suited compared to a 3000R for a typical PC setup environment. For a 35" monitor, it is recommended to have the setup between 1,3m to 2.6m and for the XR3501 the sweet spot is best at 2m.

Just got my XL2430T yesterday. Very happy with it except for one thing that is driving me crazy.

On direct perpendicular view of the screen, there is a purple tinge at the top part of the screen especially on the left side. So much so that if surf the web, the address bar would look purplish.

I tried tweaking the settings but nothing seems to work. Any solutions? hmm.gif

Update : Ok, got the purple tinge corrected by reducing red level and putting mode to standard. Will see how it goes.....

After much tweaking, I finally found the reason. It is the contrast setting, anything above 40 will result in the purplish tinge, regardless of red channel setting. As long as I set contrast less than 40, there's no problem. Is that normal? hmm.gif

Other than that, the monitor works great!

Thx.

No regrets buying this monitor. 144hz really makes a difference. Can't see any tearing at all and so silky smooth as compared to 60hz. thumbup.gif

The only problem is that in between the smoothness, the microstutters become so obvious! mad.gif

The PG2401PT
- Enjoy the smoothest shading and color transitions in natural gradations on a 10-bit display panel. A 10-bit panel can create more than one billion colors – 64 times the amount of color available on an 8-bit panel – to guarantee silky smooth gradation. The PG series also includes 14-bit processing capability, generating crisper definition and improved gray-level distinction, allowing you see true-to-print natural shades before they get printed.

- With the 14-bit 3D Look Up Table (LUT), monitors can display the most accurate color mixture. 14-bit 3D LUT improves RGB color blending accuracy, resulting in impeccable color and gray tone reproduction.

- BenQ PG series monitors feature Delta E≤2 in both Adobe RGB and sRGB color spaces to ensure colors are displayed accurately in every stage of web design, photo retouch and pre-press workflow. Delta E≤2 not only offers viewers the truest appearance of the original image, it also saves time and money by creating reliable colors and providing promising result when matching images the first time, every time.

Hi there, web browsing and gaming both model do well on this task.
But for RL2460HT where its design more onward to console gaming usage which main extra features is the HDMI output for gaming streaming use, mainly console type.

Where else XL2411Z you will never go wrong with the 1ms 144hz gaming monitor, this are special design for high speed and accurately design best for gaming.

For browsing definitely not an issue here for both model.

You can find out more info about this 2 model benq monitor.

Hi, then any gaming monitor series from benq will give you the good black level that you need.
But this may be vary as how the black eQuilizer, color vibrance setting both work along side.

1st of all BenQ Black eQuilizer work very special on it on chip where it able to hold the bright spot without over exposing it and at the same time give you the best balance on the black level content control.

With this you can eye on the latest competitive model:
XL2430T 144hz

XL2730Z (Free sync)

XL2420G (Hybrid G-Sync)

All in all, the BenQ XL2430T Gaming Monitor is truly one of a kind as it truly performs on many fronts. Sure it is a tad bit small but really, having sit up close to it as I game, I can safely say that this is – by far – one of the more impressive display panels I have used. Keep in mind, this panel is truly for gaming. When I play movies and Full HD content on this monitor, it certainly does look great though, at times, the overall visuals can be a tad too saturated.

Hi guys I got question, I'm mainly a CS: GO gamer so I'm looking to upgrade to a 144hz(with good colours).

I'm stuck between the XL2430T and XL2720Z. Which one would be better if I want good colours at 144hz?

Also I read that the XL2730Z is 2K, what about XL2720Z is it 2K too?

The RL2460HT - the gaming monitor of choice for competitive gaming and one of the key feature is the HDMI output.

The built-in HDMI output allows gamers to record and stream their gameplay after it goes through the monitor instead of before, allowing their audience to see what they have seen without the risk of input lag or delay. Finally, there's a way for gamers to enjoy an audience – and preserve their monitor speed and performance, too.

Note:
- The HDMI Output feature only supports an HDMI input source.
- This feature is for screen mirroring only. Extended display is not supported.

Hi Mr BenQ, I would like to know if BL2710PT monitor is also suitable for games like Diablo 3, Dota 2, Final Fantasy XIII-XV?
My occupation is related to CAD & 3D rendering software, and I would play some games with it also.
So I would like to know if the BL series suite with my job and also able to handle the gameplay.
Your advice is highly appreciated.

Thanks.

PC specs if needed: Intel Core I5, Nvidia GTX970, 8GB DDR3 RAM

Definitely it'll work.

I use IPS screen for games, I see the difference when I use monitors like BenQ XL2430T where the color looks more vibrant.

It's all about your taste. Monitor output can be adjusted.
