1. flimsy rotor. easily bent
2. brake howl noise
3. very limited choice of wheels
4. rear hub width available sacrificed to make way for rear rotor. resulting in narrower wheel stance. weaker wheel as a whole, unless use high spoke counts.
5. with QR, easy to get disc rub with pads
