I just flashed cataclysm rom with stock kernal..
i dun feel it any faster than stock 4.3, and just slightly (marginally faster that 4.1.2) and way faster than 4.2/4.2.2
overall i feel the custom menus are very very messy (as a whole long list)
and the mods are not screaming full of excitement like last time on AOKP (maybe im too demanding)
but it works anyhow, and customisation are known not to have so many since 4.3 is out recently only

to me 4.3 cata>4.1.2>4.3>4.2.2
forsomereason, my 4.1.2 kernal settings were quite good to compete with 4.3 butter..
will have to slowly tune this kernal now. battery life seems better than 4.1.2 or maybe is mind effect
never really use hold nav cuz i keep phone bare simple.. always busy with work so no time mess
1st custom after soo many months on 4.1.2 stock.
read cm10.2, not gonna flsh cuz not stable.
must say if i dun reboot after 7 days then this rom is preety stable now just messing with settings and tweaking and apps.


note, could it be that my 4.3 lags cuz i jumped 4.1.2 to 4.3 stock to 4.3 cata?
considering itz very dirty and recomended clean 4.3

agree with that point, if u came from 4.2.2/4.2,
to me coming straight from 4.1.2, there is little difference like 1 hour or so
4.2.2 really was the worse of all JB updates IMO

but stock is great these days unlike elair/froyo when u scream in joy cuz cm released ginger to get u out of sadness

pay like peanuts compared to my work in au..
battery still testing.. def drain more than usual. but is a cool app
similar base to aokp settings last time.

aero=aeroplane mode.
wifi trip just flip that then ok.

I was too kind trying my best not to say that and also report for spam

if u can use on malaysian telco, u'rs is most likely (magaro) aka galaxy nexus gsm running yakju
make sure u no choose galaxy nexus LTE version running mysid or (toro) or shit gets real.

if u're from stock aka never did anything, there is a possibility u are running yakjuxx variants by samsung themself.
you should not worry much as flashing stock image will return u to google where u get OTA's

depends of what u set..
options~

1) it will force stay 3g
1a) it will stay 3g untill ur battery falls to X value then toggle 2g
1b) it will force stay 3g at a cap speed
2) i will drop to 2g if no activity but raise up speed when needed
2a) it will remain 3g for a timeout period of mins be4 stwitch to 2g
3)it will drop 2g after off screen
3a)boost 3g when needed 2g on force
4) remain 2g but increse sppeed

my review on the app gravity screen on:

-interesting app, using gyro and proxi sensors on phone to on off.
-magically on screen when i take out of pocket.

but cons are too much...
-battery intensive.. (1.3/3 or what phone standby is eating.. and thats a lot, 8+times more than PGM)
-can drive u nuts; put phone on table to read article at 5' angle (on newspaper) then off screen.. turn on then turn off turn on then turn off....
-after phone call in car, the screen remains on (phone linked to bluetooth upright position, turn off screen later turn on itself
-put in pocket turn off but apps open itself for some reason

do tell me how many roms u flashed, how many dirty or half dirty u have flashed.
if u have done more than 5 be4 an absolute clean (fac image) AND flashed more than 10 roms be4,

then u will probably have this issue (if not mistaken),
cuz every flash u make, google will take it as ur new device. hence ur accout will have a new phone.
now if that new phone collection builds up then the system gets confused.
moreover, they also tracks device id and telco so when several same devices are present then installation error will happen ON THE WEB, play store detects directly on the phone, web detects from the collection of phones it reg be4

now what u can do is clear ur data/cache in google play app and sync and go on ur comp web play store and remove as many devices if not all of it then resign in google play app and turn on sync

happen to me after several flashes and narn restore and OTA..
the web store detects me using OPTUS (australian telco) in malaysia and was later telling me im on vodafone then digi and tunetalk and maxis.. rather fun i guess
