QUOTE(5p3ak @ Dec 29 2013, 11:26 AM) Read through this thread and I'm interested to be a biker too. Currently learning how to drive a Car not yet (P) license. So most of you suggest to go to Full B straight eh? TBH, I like Harleys but it seems you guys here dislike them (?) cuz I sat on a few of them before very naise I s'pose it's because of the rider's attitude? Now I planing my future about what to ride, of course start small...so maybe EX5 into something bigger say around 500cc then only jump straight into Harley? Their engines are pretty big around 1690cc, IINM. But hey, dream big dude, get one if you really like and can afford one. I'm with you on the HDs. I dont know about you, but I have never bought anything for others to check me out or for others to admire. I buy something for me to enjoy.

QUOTE(xtrasher_kingx @ Jan 30 2014, 01:11 AM) Hey guys, i love the inline 4 sound.. but my common sense don't allow me to upgrade my e6rn that i bought july 2013.. so appreciate if u guys can point me to the right direction.. 1) i wanna make my bike sound more fierce than a sewing machine.. any brand of exhaust u might recommend? and the shop in kl to get it? I like the LV sound. very deep and full. Apparently Sunny Cycle can order for u. 2) the bike has already travelled 4000km+.. when should i consider changing the tyres? what brand to consider? change when the tread is the same level as the indicator la. I like the michelin Pilot Road 3 but.....$$$$$$ Its great for cornering but its no way as good as Pirelli Diablos3) the stock tyre at the back is 160.. can it be wider? I dont like changing specs. bonus question: 4) i've been using sylkolene 4T.. thinking of using petronas lubricants as i can get discount.. any thoughts on it? Give it a try. If its bike engine lubricant why not. You'll only be using it for 5k. I choose 15W50 for motor oil.

QUOTE(lucifah @ Apr 15 2014, 01:53 PM) woot... which part is that? did the mechanics say specifically why it blew? rempit ka? most likely due to wear and tear. well it could be a chicken and egg issue. The battery was getting weaker, till the point where the bike just didnt start anymore. Look next to your left leg, Slightly infront of the gear linkage. You should see a housing that looks like a mangkuk: The part inside looks like this:

QUOTE(Hades76 @ Apr 16 2014, 10:38 AM) Sorry to hear about your coil bro..... Do you have a voltmeter on your bike. From my Versys group they mentioned thats why we need a voltmeter because to monitor this, thus if the voltmeter goes below 11, then its time to change battery so that wont overburden the coil. Another possible reason is that some people like to put all sorts of electrical stuff that will overburden the electrical system. Hope you can repair your bike soon an ride again...yaaahhhhhhh thanks bro! good idea. The mechanic also mentioned i should get something like a voltmeter, and something about attaching it above the digital meter. Wheres the best place to get for motorbikes?

QUOTE(devilkid84 @ Jun 20 2014, 06:06 PM) oh. which mean is better to get B-full in term of time and cost also save alot rite? wonder is it that cheap (400-500) to obtain B-full license anyway i will go to survey around the driving school. thx very cheap. some of the cheapest in the world. Also in other countries you wont get to ride 500cc ++ if you are below a certain age.

QUOTE(Cyphereza @ Sep 8 2014, 07:25 PM) If doing engine braking like racing (e.g. corner ahead, i'm in 5th gear, drop and blip to 3rd or 2nd), is it ok? And Busa doesn't have engine braking? Why? Curious... a friend told me gixxer 1000 oso don't have engine braking. Is this true? yes. what you are referring to are Suzukis GSXR including the GSXR1300 back-torque limiting clutches. Its not that the bikes dont have engine braking, but the system helps stabilise the engine torque so the bike remains steady just before turning corners in a race. I think they only had this on suzukis after 2005 or 2006. other suzuki models also similar.
