Few questions first....

1. What bike are you currently riding?
2. Whats your budget for a "bigger" bike
3. What's your objective of your riding? Convoy? Track? Showing off? brows.gif  brows.gif

Hahaha.. what a good idea  laugh.gif

But i think I think it's not that fast isn't it? it takes time to do all the insurance, number plate, roadtax and bla bla bla ...

May I know how long it takes normally for all of this all of this procedure?

newbie here.. i see most people use 10w-40 engine oil.. n what is the difference between full synthetic and semi synthetic?
*
for the past few months, i've been riding up and down long distance many times, so i switched to 50.
but some would recommend 40 if you're only travelling short distances in the city.

semi-synthetic simple means it has a combo of synthetic oil and mineral oil.
mineral oils might not last very long when superheated, so you'll need to change it regularly.

u give him your coil, he will give you a re-wound one in return

dunno how long it will last

If you have volt meter, it can shows you..

Healthy charging : 13v to 14v
Overcharging      : 14v and above (will fried your battery)
Undercharging    :  12v (sign the battery weak must replace fast)
Coil almost kong : 11v and below (standby money to replace soon)

To get a healthy and long lasting coil.

1. Try not to add more load on the current electrical system (additional spotlight and perhaps HID)
2. Change your oil regularly with manufacturing specific oil grade
3. Change the battery when its become weak (not the time you can't start anymore)

Thanks!
I know about the voltmeter, but always thought it only had to do with battery.

hi all,

I'm not familiar with the search function. dunno how to search for punctured tyre issue.

I have an Er6n, tyre punctured at highway very near my house (nail I think). it was night already, the shops were closed dy. So I bring back to my house first.

The question is, can I bring my bike to any bike shop or do I need to bring to big bike shop to repair my tyre?

FYI, I travel Seremban - KL daily. I'm worried that normal 'cacing' is not good enough to cover the hole.

Thanks in advance for the response.
*
Rm 5-10 bucks at any bike shop that fix with the cacing.
But many will tell you if repair too many times after too many nails, the tyre will be no good. ~meh, not like I'm a hardcore racer pun.
In fact, the small bike shops will feel bangga that a big biker will come to their shop.

Thanks for the opinions, guys. Much appreciated.
Yeah, more upright. I don't really mind the wind, used to ride in the UK with 30-40mph winds being a fairly common occurrence. It's the wind noise that gets me, lol. But earplugs go a long way to solve that issue.

I really wish Honda sold their VTR250s and CB400s here. Especially the VTR250. V-twin, trellis frame, classic looks... definitely a nice package.

See a lot of CB400s going dirt cheap on Mudah. I'm guessing their COEs have expired? Is it even legal to ride Thai/SG-registered bikes here?
*
illegal.

aih, the problem is does immigresen even keep track of all the foreign number plates that enter Malaysia?
If I am from Singapore, I work in Singapore my bike is Singapore registered,
but I quit my job and I want to visit relatives in Malaysia for as long as my Sinkie passport allows it,
my bike will surely be in Malaysia for many weeks.

if JPJ comes along and sees my bike, what right do they have to confiscate it if I'm merely travelling in Malaysia?
