how does the mini 848 fares against your sexy 1190?
*
848 is very light but not a really fast machine. Maybe I'm so used to a liter bike tongue.gif
This is 848 Evo and identical to 1098 and my 1198 but without dry clutch and fitted with cast alloy rims.
Not sure about the weight but my 1198s is at 170kg vs 170hp.

Nice and great bike to consider as an entry level of Ducati in superbike category.

Thanks for the two cents..
Yes Suzuki is quite 'new' here, I like GSR750 so much not because of the rareness but because of the tall gearing character (and the look).
I am so used to highway riding, when I ride in KL.... its' a pain playing with with the clutch during traffic jam in KL. I wish there are other bikes with this tall gearing. Based on the GSR750 test ride review overseas, 1st gear can be held until 114km/h and 2nd gear up until 144km/h. I cannot find any bikes of the same class with this similar tall gearing character. Anyone can suggest?

Now shortlisted:
CBR650f
MT-07
NC750x manual
GSR750
*
Any bike can be "tall gearing" but if you in traffic, can you ride till that speed or not?
I rode 280 on 5th gear and top gear just within top speed. That is on open road.

lol..how the sound is...quite interested in termo exhaust also..maybe gonna try it soon..

Same full system on my 1198. I even remove the db killer brows.gif brows.gif
When idling, deeper than full Akra on 1199. If you interested, look in ebay.it by Italian seller or from Germany. Their price are much much cheaper.

switch between a racer and naked once in a while.

Yamaha bikes are less popular here. Dealer and their service sucks. Most expats owned Italian bike or barley.
And i'm a little poor now sweat.gif sweat.gif

Any exhaust is good for Versys as long as the Lambda sensor is there and the workmanship to install is good.

I am sure you have also seen some Versys have modified the exhaust to come out until the side, like a regular superbike. If the welding and all is good, no issues. However heard too many horror stories of exhaust without Lambda sensor and it screws up the bike. The infamous FI light will appear and surely you will "jiwa kacau".

Ixil is also a good brand, but its like loud, even with DbKiller on. Scorpion havent heard it in action yet.

As for full system exhausts, most are without lamda sensor but comes with lamda bung for future piggy back add on.
Oxygen or lamda sensor is for the ECU to measure the AFR. Removing the lamda sensor and exhaust servo will cause the open loop in the wiring system. Missing sensors detected by ECU and check engine light will trigger. It can be eliminated by reflashing the ECU or with proper eliminator socket on the wiring harness.

Piggy back like PCV or Bazzaz can be used to fine tune the AFR and to gain additional hp from the full system exhaust. You can check with expert members on this.

BMW HP4 variants – Competition or standard (black rims). Never you will get 118k price. That is maybe for standard S1000RR brand new.

Tricolor – Ducati 1199 Panigale and 1098

R in Ducati family – 999, 1098, 1199 Panigale and 2015 Panigale R (For 2015, 1199 discontinued and replaced with 1299S)

Ride fast & safe everyone.

Me too involved in accident 2 weeks ago. Morning traffic rush and I was going through between cars when suddenly a pedestrian cross the road without looking mad.gif mad.gif
I slammed hard front brake till wikang but still too late to avoid him. Hit him and I fell off from my bike. I saw his hand is bleeding when I asked him to help me lift up the bike.
Took me a week to recover from muscle pain on my right feet. Some damage to the bike too cry.gif

the stator coil
but go to any workshop oso they never refer it to stator. they say koil koil  tongue.gif

Stator is best to replace with brand new OEM. Get the parts number and find from cheaper supplier. Don't play play with electronics nod.gif

but what's your opinion on re-wound coils?

i mean, if we use the correct gauge and same number of "wraps", then we should be able to get the same result?
*
We can yes about correct gauge and same number of "wraps" but some others are saying about the material specification itself.

I just look into buliding a coil for my e-cigg. Same number of wrap and kanthal gauge but different ohm on different brand as they claimed.

IMO and im not so sure. Best bet, go OEM.
