Thank you so much... Really much appreciated.

Please also show me where the SRS controller located
and the connection from seat belt pre-tensioner as well.

I won't do it myself because I totally don't know how to
remove anything about the car. Besides I've read online
that this pre-tensioner contain some kind of small explosive
device.

I will send my car to the workshop and ask them to do it
this Saturday.

here is the photos of SRS Module,
Attached Image

like other forumers mentioned,

the SRS Module is sitting underneath of center console, right beside hand brake.

and this is the Seatbelt Pre-tensioner,
Attached Image
(Photo showed is Passenger side, Driver side same)

noticed the Yellow cable connected to the seatbelt retractor?

that cables is links back to SRS Module if I'm not mistaken.

No, our seatbelt pre-tensioners is very basic model,

I don't think it contain any explosive material. sweat.gif

SRS Module,

you have to remove centre console.

HOW?
gear boot and hand boot need remove first,

Total contain 5x screws to remove,
(two at the front small columns, one inside the storage box, and rear portion left/right side each having one screw)

Front portion is connected to aircond control switches section,

let front portion come out first, then raise it up to get rid of the hand brake,

hand brake need to pull till max level in order to make way to let the center console come out.

Seatbelt Pre-tensioner,

you have to remove Pillar B Lower Trim.

HOW?
front and rear doors bottom trim remove, 2x screw each trim, pull from bottom.
(Easy access/remove)

You will see some "clips" on these two bottom trims.

then front and rear weatherstrips need to remove a little bit in order to see the "clips" locations,

If I'm not mistaken total got 5x or 6x clips,

using flat screwdriver to pry those clips on the lower trim.

Caution: you might broke some clips on those trims during above process.

GOOD LUCK.

- It's not Timing Belt. According to the Proton SC told me that it's the air cond belt
and it should change at the same time with timing belt.

these 2 is compulsary but i dint change... any symptoms if need change? or consequence of late change?
- Tensioner Bearing <-- The symptom is there will the sound like the insect sound (jeed.. jeed... jeed...)
then you will need to open up the black engine side plastic cover to see whether it shake while spinning
or not.

- Gasket <-- It's head gasket. If you can see the oil leaking out between the Cylinder Head and Engine Block
then you should change. According to Proton SC they told that if the oil leak out too much and touch
the timing belt then it might gonna cause the timing belt to slip out then it's gonna break your heart.

- ATF Oil <-- I'm sorry. Mine is AT. That's why it call ATF Oil. I'm not sure about MT.

for example power steering oil is ok, when need change ur steering hard to corner bcz no oil . .
disc brake i think if my brake not sensitive only need change.. so far still ok..

those important is like timing belt if no change putus your car may eng blown..

You are most welcome,
I'm just sharing what I had encountered.
Do share your outcome too.

FYI, the new replacement of seatbelt pre-tensioner cost close to RM 500 each side..

oo, thanks for the info . . .
the drive belt i not sure as the owner tell me he change the timing belt not long ago, but i not sure about he change drive belt together or not.. if the belt got prob i think only affect our aircond? biggrin.gif

tensioner bearing i donno what is that , i dint hear any sound.. my car only do some weird sound when my gear too high and my clutch + pedal trottle not good in release... for example the speed too low i using gear 2, my pedal release too less and my clutch release nice.. donno wad sound like *forget like jeed jeed or what lol need try again later after work..* then i press more throttle and the sound gone.. usually i only encounter when the car infront too slow suddenly i not good in adjust my speed to match the front car..
but when idle or what dont have the sound..

i think no leaking since i open only see dusty, and no oil spot on my floor..
