Well, if it is me I will use my original head lamps. You save 600, which means you are paying 2050. Nego a bit you might get 2000.

Why I use back my original? Lets just say you kena tangkap. They saman. Are you going to change back to original? No. Because you spent 2000 and get caught once. No way I am changing back to original because of that. The after half a year they catch and saman you, are you going to change back to original? No. Because you have spent 2000 and you only kena like twice? So averagely it is twice a year. 200 in total is a small sacrifice for the aesthetic you are looking for, ain't I right? So since you are not changing back to original anyway. So why keep it?

If you say you are going to de-mod and put back the original head lamps, what are you going to do with this new one? Keep as souvenir or sell? If you sell, by that time, who will still be interested? What s the price that you will want to sell at?
*
Yeah im planning to use my original headlamp, screw it! The headlamp they gonna use is not ori, as time pass by the blurr/yellowish effect will be visible. Thinking of next month if budget allow biggrin.gif

i can only judge from the photo
LED looks brighter but could be edited
and LED shud be longer lifespan
*
I just googled for some pics LED is more like pearl necklace (dots), CCFL complete chain....

Whats the lifespan for CCFL?

But i still prefer CCFL for its smooth appearance.

i ordered mine one from speedo auto jb..come with headlamp and 4 projector with 2 led ring and 2 ccfl ring..rm1300 is the damage.. shocking.gif

yip auto is damn expensive!
*
you have pic? Yip Auto quoted eyeliner(Korean) + 2 Projector (not hid) + pole lights(korean) 2k....

I find 4 projector a bit messy....but if you can share your pic will be better...yours Taiwan made?

I checked with CSB, eyeliner plus projector is around 2k...without polelight, all taiwan made. They said polelight is korean made, need to order, different price.

Yeah.. Yip Auto quoted the price is quite pricey compared to other retail outlet.. I did (eyeliner+ 4 light steel plate+2 interior light) cost me RM800..

I tried search everywhere but no retail outlet provide for Kia Forte except Yip Auto.. Got one is speedo jb, but JB weihh! tol + petrol + my energy sad.gif
*
Yeah thats the thg....no other shops have this...

Speedo is in Jb as you said which is far for me, i dont prefer postage. I want the provider to fix it to be on the safe side.

Their workmanship and service, I see so far so good.. Not those sombong tauke..  laugh.gif

But their products, yeah I agree..

It doesnt really cant last long.. I did mine since April 2013, got burn once for led and led steel plate.. They replaced for me and only charge me labour fee..

But bulbs will eventually burn one day, so depends on luck actually..  unsure.gif

The thing is they use our ori headlamp thats y im worried about the sealing back part...

You got any idea about CSB-PRO?

Yeah, they use our ori headlamp.. But so far they sealed it properly, no foggy or water went through before..

Before I go to Yip Auto, went to ask CSB-PRO.. The price is more expensive compared to Yip Auto.. Wanted to do angel eyes, kena charged RM1k+  doh.gif
*
But i have doubts about Yip coz so far no good response...ill try checking with CSB soon....

I guess thats the normal price... Eagle Eyes - Asia sells at 1899.00

Ok bro sure. As far as i know CSB uses some imported paint, heat resistance up to 600C to protect the casing for HID Projector Headlamp...

Anyway ill check with them and let you know...

reason is ur car is still new and all seal / rubber still tight... blush.gif

remember sometime fully tight doesn't mean good...no flexibility....
*
Yeap when i installed my recently, the guy told me it was too tight...no flexibility not good.

For now, What i feel from installing it, less vibration when i go pass holes, humps, steering much more steady.

You have to be really aware of ur car to notice the difference.

Yours were installed in SMM? Since the ring is making the frames more solid and does not affecting the car flex, so I do not see a problem. The holes get filled is giving me the effect that I want.
*
Yeap SMM. When they tried to open one of the nut it was too tight, he said not good. He used torque wrench to fix the stiff ring so i assume it should be at about the right level of force used to tight it back after installation.

But its a small budget stuff you cant expect so much difference, but so far im happy with it. If need major difference you need to spend more money, with it comes better quality but for the right product.

Oh, I thought you say that the effect after adding stiff ring is too tight. Mine was at the right level when they took it out. Also using torque wrench to tighten it back. Now after service in SC, I will go there to do health check for the car, tighten the bolts under the car, tighten the bars, etc.
*
smile.gif How often you do health check? Planning to add UR Bars soon...

Front 2 point is good enough rite? Plus Rear ARB.

Health check after every service in SC.

I did front 2 points tower bar, rear ARB and last week I did rear lower arm bar. The effect is good too. Like it when the car changes lane at high speed and also when you go through uneven road. Car feels further more solid.

If Forte has front ARB in the market, I would have installed it too. The front now seems to have understeer at round abouts, but I can live with that.
*
Owhkk...ill try the tower and rear arb first to checkout the difference before adding on...
