7.5j is ok
saw ppl put 8-9j somemore tongue.gif
i think spec E is ok (unless u wanna go for rota rim, takethe 9j et+30  brows.gif )
sifu-sifu, pls correct me if im wrong

EDIT==> im not sifu smile.gif
*
7.5 is ok...im on 7.5 +42 offset... 8-9 will hit the fender with heavy load because your tire will be jetting out slightly of of your body. Lenso Spec E should be ok. Max u can go is 8 but not advisable if you are gonna use it as a family car.

i'm no sifoo...but i'm on 8j.
no hit fender.

Depends on your offset also.....higher offset = the tire will be inner (inside fender), lower offset = the tire will be out

this is what i read....

Our forte oem rims are on 7 +50, so if you are going for larger width rim, you should try to stick some where near to it.....

I wonder if big rims driving wont be bumpy? sorry cos I was thinking to change to 16" for more comfort  rclxub.gif
*
17" for looks, no doubt 16" with high profile tyres offers more comfort as a few members here are on 16" said improved comfort, no worries about holes, dented rims.

i went for 17" for looks at the expense of comfort, looks great for me...just need to change to better tires when the time comes to reduce noise...

I'd consider changing to 16" before as well, but since i'm not too fussy when it comes to the ride quality i decided to postpone that thought for now

Looks good how much? Will suit white or grey forte... but make sure its not tooo dark or else it will look bad, just my opinion... wink.gif

Stock rims are 17x7JJ +48 offset....
so if go for +38 to +40 should be no problem and also depends on the rims' width.
I'm thinking to change SSR Type F 17 but then after fitted in car the design looks like 16''.. Lolz....
*
yeah i saw one forte fitted with it but looks smaller than the actual size....

QUOTE(Desert Punk @ Aug 7 2013, 11:17 AM)
Roughly around RM1750, haven't seen it in person so I'm not sure whether it's too dark lol..but meh..i'm fine with it being dark lol... the darker it is the better haha...the offset is +45 so i guess there shouldn't be a problem.
*
Less maintanence huh tongue.gif
+45 will fit in fine....

Lenso Samurai rims are not bad but i dun prefer the red colour in the middle...

Nah,the samurai isn't my cup of tea lol...something about it just ticks me off for some reason lol
*

True? I don't want to go all the way there and they send me back cause I have no appointment.
*
Shouldnt be any problem if you go early.... be there by 8.30am if you want to be among the first.

I did my first 2 services there...no such problems....

Loan agreement is between us and the bank right? Not the dealer.
*
I was told to sign the loan agreement before they can proceed to book the car and JPJ registration. You need to sign the loan agreement at the bank, unless the SA can bring it to the SC for you to sign, but im sure you will have to sign loan agreement before SA can proceed to process your car registration for them to be on the safe side in case loan rejected or smthg.
